This is a birthday gift for my grandson. He loves it and follows me to practice with him every day. The material is safe and durable, so there is no need to worry about him breaking it. I am very happy to see him improve little by little, his dribbling becomes more stable, and his breakthrough becomes more flexible. This is not only a training tool, but also a good helper for the interaction between us.

The design is simple and practical. It can effectively simulate defense during training and help improve dribbling and breakthrough abilities. My child practices with it every day and feels that his progress is obvious. Training has become more interesting.

We love these. My sons plays basketball and is on the shirt need of things so he needs to get his jump shot as high as possible and needs to work around the bigger guys. This aloud him to do just that. He was able to get his shot on even better and has improved so much because of it

These are decently padded. They come with the handle detached and then you screw it on. Some plumbing tape would probably go a long way on the threads when you screw it on to prevent it from coming loose easily when hitting them. A couple hits made the handle come a little loose. Overall happy with the item though and wil put it to good use.

I used these with my junior high son for basketball training. They worked quite well. My only criticism is that the handles too easily loosen by becoming unscrewed. We simply retighten them and continue. A little glue would solve the problem.

The padding on the stick was fine. The issues is with how poorly they made the area to screw into one another. We did use the provided thread locker, but the material constantly needing to be tightened into eachother is wearing down the threads!

These are cheap and don’t last whatsoever. The threads on the handles don’t stay in the metal threads of the pads. I barely used these and the handles just fall out! Total waste of money.

My husband is a football coach and he uses this item to help during practices. Also, my kids have a great time sparring with these and they are not dangerous.Update: these are not sturdy. After a few times using the pad detached from stick part and it was unusable. There is still a lip there that I could potentially glue with gorilla glue and glue back together but disappointed that this even happened. I did not report it to customer service as we used it several months after purchase.
