It did rip a little after a couple of training sessions but I am pretty rough on my equipment so the fact that the rip has stayed localised says wonderful things about the strength and quality of this dummy.My other dummy from another provider is in half at the moment, way lower quality and nowhere near as tough.

This grappling dummy is almost perfect for my high school wrestler who wanted a bit of at home practice. The material appears to be quite durable and so far we’ve been able to stuff it to 100 lbs. The only negative is that it isn’t quite 70”. Despite the size issue, we are very pleased with the dummy and I expect my son to get lots of use out of it.

It performs as advertised. But it smells really bad. The vinyl is giving off some terrible fumes.

So my son who is 6ft &14 stone is an MMA enthusiast. He’s basically used this heavily for a few months now ( on a carpeted garage floor) and it’s still immaculate. It’s really top quality. Be warned though; this takes a massive amount of time & expense to fill. I had to trawl endless charity shops for the filling & cut it up into rags .. took at least 8 full bin bags of clothes etc to get the correct amount of rags . Then you have to cut all the clothes up I.e. remove buttons and zips . And all that is before you even start the tasks of actually filling the dummy . I’d advice anyone considering a purchase to look on you tube at ‘how to’ videos before considering this. Ps I was personally unable to find a ‘filled’ version anywhere. Might be a good business idea for someone .

I bought 20lb of poly-fil but only needed 10. The fill is perfect for the job. I put one pool noodle in each leg to help it stand, if you do that, put the noodle in before filling it. I'm going to drop a few lb of penny rolls intermixed w/glass marbles in the hollow part of the noodle (this is the one thing I have not completed yet).I went with the unfilled dummy because I very much wanted to control it's weight. I'm giving this 5 stars because it is a very sturdy hide that that is what they promised us. BTW be careful how much weight you add, keep in mind that it is dead weight, ~20lb is fine to practice throws.

Crap, tear in 2 places in less than a minute of use, arm and groin. Take over an hour to fill-up and my 6 year old 40 pounds son destroy it inside a single minute of normal use. Unbelievable junk.

First of all shipping was crazy fast.I was really surprised. The dummy came in an envelope style package so I was worried about damage but it was in great condition. At first you feel how thick and strong the leather is. The stitching is strong and tight. The interior has patches in certain spots to make weak point stronger. You know this thing is built to get beat. Stuffing it is a little bit of a pain but its worth it if you compare the prices of an already filled one. Now while your stuffing it I recommend you place a skeleton like frame in the center of all the stuffing. Reason for this is because the weight from the chest will make the legs collapse. I plan on using thin PVC pipe filled with sand and clothing duct taped around it to protect the leather.

It shipped when the said it would. I would have gave 5 stars but it didn't come filled which was a pain getting it filled and making sure you get it stiff enough for what I'm using it for. The dummy seems pretty durable and high quality. Have not used it yet due to still working on filling .
