I was tempted to return this because the screw to the clutch is missing. I needed it that day though so improvised a screw and ordered another clutch as teplacementA bit disappointed.

It’s a fine stand for the money, in this price range you can’t really beat it. Definitely a bit flimsy and it is annoying that you can adjust the legs. I use a double kick pedal and setting it up next to it without it colliding into the chain makes the hats far-ish away. Can’t beat it at this price.

I got this for my daughter as a cheep hihat platform and when it arrived it was exactly that. It's very rickety. Not well built at all. I can't imagine it would last and it's so cheeply built that I would not even want her to try to learn on such a piece of junk.. for a bit more money I would go another route. I know everyone says you get what you pay for but there are better options then this for just a bit more money. I'm not comparing it in quality to my DW but I am saying that it is barely functional in a cheep platform hihat and would not recommend.

It would have been better to have printed set up instructions for someone who had never done this before. We looked up online how to set it up. For an experienced person I'm sure it would not have been a probelm at all. Other than that, it is great.

Very sturdy and stable. best bang for you buck so far .I got this stand for our new drum students so I'm it will definitely be tested. I've only had it for a couple of weeks and feels great. I will try to update in 6 months and then again in 1 year to see if has survived.

I've had this for a few days now and it seems like it's doing its job just fine. While I don't have tons of experience at drums, I don't see any issues with this hi-hat stand. Everything works like it's supposed to, as far as I can tell. The stand and mechanism don't make much noise by themselves, which is good for getting just the sound of the cymbals (not included!)

Structure of the Luvay Hi-Hat Stand, Double Braced 3-Leg Lightweight (5lb) is a principal part of a flexible trio in one, that accommodates and the resonates pulse of the drummer's syncopated impulses. The quality and the price are both good.
