This is a neat "outside the box" alternative to a traditional lockbox or gun safe. I will say it is a bit thick, so depending on where it is placed it may stand out and draw attention to itself. I placed it in an incognito spot in my office and I think it blends in pretty well. Note this is not a lockbox - if someone discovers it there is nothing stopping them from accessing what is inside.

This would be a nice addition to our entryway. The mounting hardware is sturdy enough for a polymer style device. Not sure it would support a full metal device. I don't care for the center post in the box/frame. I feel that's a recipe for an ND. I may look at removing that since it shouldn't really be there in the first place. The absence of any way to secure a device inside is also troubling, since the post is a bad idea, but there is no other way provided to secure the device inside the box.The frame portion certainly looks nice. It has plexi in it, so that makes it lighter, and I'm sure as a frame, it would be very nice on it's own.The lack of a good way to secure a device inside is just bad, and extremely unsafe. While the concept of this is great, it is just severely lacking in it's primary function. I may work to come up with a solution so that I can use this for it's intended purpose, but out of the box, I do not feel that it is usable for anything but a picture frame or as a place to put items inside other than the intended device. If I can't come up with a solution to secure the device inside, then this will be unusable to me. Sad, really, because it does look nice.

I'm really torn on how to review this item as it serves my purpose fine but I don't think it's a good fit for the advertised purpose. As other reviewers have noted, this is not an appropriate firearm or valuables safe. There is no lock and, even if there was, the metal post is insufficient to prevent heavy things from falling out. However, I think this is clever storage solution for less important things and can even be used to have a little fun. I got it to use to hold clues in an escape room at a charity event we're putting on, and it will be fantastic for that purpose. When that is over, I'm thinking about putting some peel and stick hooks on the inside and using it as a place to hang car keys. If you've got a secret room in your house, it would be a great place to hide the switch or lock to the door.

This gun safe is stunning. It's easy to hang. I love that. It has a place for a photo and looks inconspicuous. This storage capacity is large.I'm very impressed

The frame does what it says it does, but it is bare bones. The frame stays closed via a magnet which is decent quality. The frame mounts to the wall but it sticks out a few inches so it's not very discreet. Anyone who looks at the picture will wonder why its sticking 5 inches out from the wall, plus it's not lockable so if you did out a firearm inside, its not safe. Again, it does what it says but its basic and I honestly wouldn't put any type of firearm inside, maybe a stash of cash or something but it doesn't lock so, yeah.

This is a nice picture frame with an opening to hide objects. The picture frame is matt black to go with many decors. The picture frame on the front is actually a door, opening to a storage compartment. The magnets for the door hold together very well. It is just as pictured. I would say that it is a medium weight frame and box, not heavy duty. Hung to the wall and does have a sizeable width from the wall. The fame arrived with some corner seperation. Went back together easily but these should of been glued and well and nailed. No locking door. It opens when pulled on.

This was much nicer than I thought it would be. I was surprised, I really didn't think I was going to like it. It's very well built, the frame has a heavy duty magnet to hold it closed, the pin in the middle others have mention is to hold your gun. When storing a gun it should always be unloaded which enables you to store it as I have shown in the photos. It fits my holster, both mags and my gun all very nicely. I also like how you can change the photo out to whatever you want. I personally love this, I even showed it to family members and now they are going to get one. 10/10 highly recommend.
