The compartment isn't long enough to fit the width of a dollar bill. What's the point then? Also, I bought two, and neither of the pens actually work. Complete waste of money, but too much trouble to return/refund. Don't bother.

Pen didn’t work and obvious fake if you read the pen, it’s in like 3 different languages.

When I purchased the fake pen, the stock photos clearly showed it being used to hide rolled up US dollar bills.When I tried to put 3 $20 bills in it, the cap would not close. I couldn’t even force it closed. The inside of the pen doesn’t have enough space to hold money.On top of that, the marker tip doesn’t actually work like a marker. But it’s a fake pen, right? Not supposed to work?What if someone is in my stuff and finds it, they try to use it and throw it in the trash because it doesn’t work. Now I can’t even get it back even if the hiding the money part worked.Or worse, what if the pen not working at all makes the thief realize it’s fake and finds what I’ve hidden. It should at least work a little to keep up the ruse.I didn’t give it one star because it can still be used to hide smaller items like medicine but no more than 2 stars because I don’t like being mislead into buying something.I appreciate that the item exists and is available but it needs work to actually be helpful.

This pen blends in great with other markers. The pen does write in red ink if anybody tries to use it. The pen unscrews to reveal a hidden compartment, useful for storing a few dollar bills or other small items. The pen is useful for hiding items in plain sight. The threads on the secret compartment area are ok, but the compartment doesn't lock closed or anything. It is really security by obscurity.
