You add it to the existing spacer that’s already there so you’ll have two spacers. The U-boats are long enough to work.

Had to return since I ordered wrong size. Did order same brand at size I wanted. These are durable in appearance. Seem well built. Like I said, I used the 3" version with no issue.

I put them in a 2014 chevy Silverado, and the u bolts are not nearly long enough. The u bolts need an extra inch of length.
