My dog does not get separation anxiety, but I thought he could benefit from a little calming down. I'm keeping the dosage on the low side because I just wanted to take the edge off a bit, not zone him out. My dog is not a big treat hound so actually getting him to take them was going to be the big issue, but he loves them. He likes them much better than any training treats that I've picked up for him. So getting them in his system is not a problem. I will say that he's always so anxious in the car, he does seem to be a bit more relaxed on the trips since starting them. I don't know if I can attribute that to these or not. I mean I have no way of knowing if he's just getting more used to the riding or if these are working some magic on him. When I'm done with this jar, perhaps I'll let wait a couple of weeks and see if he starts to go back to drooling and panting on the rides without them, then I'd have a better idea of if these are what has effected the change.

I have never had much luck with calming bites for my dogs. They either don't work or they won't eat them because they taste bad. These smelled weird so I didn't have high hopes that they would like them, but surprisingly, they ate them right up. They also actually made them tired and calm, too. Any other calming aids have had no affect on them whatsoever. Very happy with these.

We have a wild rescue—our very own Tasmanian Tigger, Molly Mae. And let me tell you...this girl is non-stop! We've tried everything—Vet RX, Benadryl (1, 2, even 3 pills!)—nothing worked. Molly would be back to full speed in less than two hours. Honestly, I’ve spent a lot of time wondering how many more high-energy years I’ve got left with this girl. Then we found these Hemp Calming Chews…and this is the one! We've used them a few times now, and today we really noticed a difference. It doesn’t sedate her or turn her into a zombie—she’s still Molly, just less ramped up. The chaos is dialed back without changing her personality. If you’ve got a whack-a-dog energy ball at home—or if your pup is on meds and you’re looking for something natural—this is a must-have. We absolutely love our Molly, but we’re also really thankful she’s the only one like her (out of six dogs!).Highly recommend for anyone needing to take the edge off without losing the dog you love.

This is the 2nd brand in trying for calming chews. Pros: huge container will last a few months. Good value to cost. Dogs will actually eat this one. Cons: doesn't work as great as the last chews. I have a dog with anxiety separation anytime my son leaves to work at night it makes for long nights of pacing, barking, and crying. The last chews helped if I mushed them in peanut butter. These ones she will eat, but one chew didn't do it for her. I gave her two the next night and it wasn't as bad but still not great. I need sleep, so I'll try giving her three tonight but that starts to decrease the value to cost.

Very cute heart shaped and a larger container than I expected. Dog loved them! Gave them to her before a group of people came over since she gets really nervous, grouchy. Aside from the barking when people knocked, she was surprisingly calm. One friend even started playing fetch with her and commented that they had never seen her play before. She was so calm even the cat came out to visit. I didn't expect much having used a lot of calming oils/treats previously. But these are AMAZING!

Our shelter dog has anxiety, so we thought we'd try these before kenneling or car rides. She likes the flavor of these hemp calming chews and eats them like a treat, but we did not notice any difference in her behavior yet. The directions suggest giving half of the dose at first and then increase to the maximum dose. She's close to 50 pounds and two chews did not work. I think these probably work on some dogs but not all. We will give her more but so far I'm not sure these will work on her. There are 200 chews in the container.

I have a high energy, super-alert australian shepherd/poodle mix and he has zero chill.... ever. The good news is that he's quick to train and he loves treats.I was really just looking for some general training treats and my neighbor said try hemp snacks for dogs, so here we are. This is the 3rd type of dog hemp snacks I've tried and he definitely likes this flavor best. They're kind of slightly moist chunks and I give him 3 (he weighs about 45lbs). Honestly I think they really do calm him down as he's noticeably less hyper about 30-40 min after eating them.So far no stomach upset or other issues but I'm very happy with these and I'm glad he likes them too as it makes training a lot easier on both of us.
