I feel like these calm my dogs down but do not sedate them. They like the taste. I wish the price was lower though so I only give them out when we have company over. I have not noticed any negative side effects.

I bought these to help manage my Rottweilers agression and she has been so much better. Still has a few outbursts here and there but its made it much easier to identify moments before they become an issue.

Have a 10lb Yorkie. He deals with anxiety and stress. This has been a life saver. We give it to him on leaving for the day after exercise and breakfast. He does not have stomach issues and will be reordering asap

I bought these to take the edge off my grand puppy when she visits. She is anxious when her parents leave her. She was naughty and got into them. Ingested a guesstimate of 45-55 treats. After a $95 call to ASPCA poison control I was assured she was fine and we just needed to monitor her. They had zero effect on her even with taking in this quantity. The 13 left in the container after that went into the trash. Photo is 4 hours after ingestion. She’s lucky she’s cute.

My dog is a crackhead. I can toss him 4 of these b****es and he is still going at 100%. Maybe your dog is less of a crackhead, give it a shot. He likes the taste tho, and so do my other dogs. But they have less crackhead energy and I still didn’t notice a difference, so.. do with that what you will

I purchased these calming treats as a replacement for prescription medication. I have found my dog much more calm and less anxious and she has had no bad side effects like with the prescription medication. She loves the flavor of the treats and willingly eats them up.

My Dalmatian developed separation anxiety after his sister passed. I tried other items but no luck. I found this and decided to try it because i already use the fish oil treats with great results. The first two times it worked quickly, the next couple it took a bit longer but still worked. He's not paniced with heavy breathing when i get home anymore. I would say it lasted about 4 hrs give or take using 2 chews on a 65lb dog. I do work from home so i won't be using these each day, so i can't verify how they work if used daily.

Purchased these because my 6 1/2lb male Yorkie becomes Cujo when taking to groomer. I started out giving him half of treat each day a week to see impact before giving him full treat leading up to groomer appt. No impact. Gave him full calming chew on appt day & it had absolutely no impact on him at all. The groomer works in a vet facility & it was so bad they had to give him a sedative in order to bathe & groom him. The groomer said it was like he had super strength fighting them off. It appears not all ingredients or products work on all dogs. I don't know what I'm going to do with the other 83 treats in the package but, it was very nicely packaged, delivered without breakage & he did like the taste. I tried to be fair in the rating because even the vet said the ingredients in the calming chews should have worked. I don't want him to get a medical sedative each time he has to be groomed because it's not safe so, I'm not sure what to do at this point.Update -10/10/2023 - Zesty Paws contacted me almost immediately after my review about this not working on my dog & they allowed me to replace item based on my dog's needs with another product. Not only are Zesty Paws products really great but, their customer service department is exceptional! I just purchased additional Zesty Paw products today, Prime Deal Day!
