I needed more workspace on my Laptop. It only supports HDMI video out. This was a real drag because I had a VGA monitor sitting around collecting dust. This awesome little adapter was very reasonably priced. Especially for its quality of manufacture! I am very impressed & even more satisfied. I highly recommend it to anyone with a similar problem. Matter of fact I insist you buy this one & look no further ! You will not be disappointed. The delivery time was only a few days.

Awesome deal. Super inexpensive and works exactly how it's described in the listing. I bought my 7-year-old a Raspberry Pi learning kit for Christmas, and as I don't have any spare HDMI or DVI displays at the moment, I decided to dust off an old VGA monitor for the project.I flashed Raspbian onto an SD card and plugged the adapter into the Pi and speakers. The display came up right away with zero effort, and audio playback is working fine. I did notice the display blanking out a few times when opening applications, but plugging the power into the Micro USB port remedied that immediately.Overall, I'll likely buy more of these as needed for new projects down the road. Very handy adapter, VERY inexpensive, and works like a charm. That's a win in my book.

Works just as expected. It has some trouble with higher resolutions, but I suspect that might be because of the VGA destination.
