I wanted my redcat gen 7 faster so I went to YouTube found a guy using this 6842 Traxxas spur gearWith a bit of modification the plastic one worked in video, so I bought this metal one and tho the gear tooth pitch is different and I had to order new 32p pinion gears to match it's been successful with minor modification This rock crawler just turned to a basher

Once installed I've had no problem with this in my speedrun 4-Tech. But to install it requires the adapter/hub, and then you need to organise a method to locate & secure the driveshaft crosspin.
