The Black Thumbs Up Grip attaches to your Leica M2 M3 M4 M4-P M4-2 M6 M7 MP Film Camera via the hot shoe to dampen vibrations and provide stable, protected contact with the camera. Nicely made piece. Fits perfectly on Leica M film cameras. I ended up returning the item due to the fact that I prefer using the film crank for support instead. As it was hindering me from advance film quickly by moving my thumb back and forth between the thumb rest and film advance.This would be the perfect add on if you are using a Leica Leicavit or Leica Motor Grip. Using either of the Leica film advance accessories you do not need to use the cameras film advance at all and hence the Haoge THB-M6B thumb rest would definitely improve the handling and minimize wear and tear on the film advance lever.
