My first time using this, the plastic covering the compass on the stop broke and the compass fell out into the sea! The new batteries I installed went flat pretty quickly during the first session as well.

Package was recieved in good condition. All items were as listed. Anemometer works well. It will be used for reporting wind condition during severe weather by Skywarn storm spotter.

Love this anemometer!We use it for race committee on major regattas and are ver happy with it’s accurate wind readings to make sure we are setting up the best racecourse possible. Would recommend!

This is very handy, seems pretty robust. Has all the desirable options for display units. I like the addition of current temperature as well, which my previous unit did not have.My only quibble is that the display is a bit difficult to read in full daylight, especially the smaller texts such as units and temperature, but it's not enough to mark it down for. I hope to get many years of use from this unit!

I could run with it and it would not sense wind speed. I was outside with a 5-10 mph speed and got nothing.Only until I would blow directly into it or hold it directly in front of my fan would it have readings.

Love this..I can now see how fast the wind is blowing off lake Ontario...I have wondered for years how fast the wind is blowing...now I know...thank you
