A great looking anemometer but not accurate at all. At 55 mph it read 82 mph.

Reviewing the AIOMEST AI-878 Non-Directional Cup Anemometer. I will be using mostly for RC airplane flying. That said I would like to leave it on all day to capture max windspeed but it auto shuts off. Far as I can tell there is no way to disable it. It seems to work okay, one needs to be careful with this type of anenmometer as it is more fragile than the directional types.Also did not get a case as pictured.

I like that the compass has a flat surface and I can place a level on top for a more accurate wind reading. The funtion keys were easy to use and I didn't even need the directions also the screen lights up and is readable in all light conditionsMy only dislike is I ordered a blue one and received an orange one. So You not not get the color You Order
