I’m not an upholsterer but I did manage to redo my 1987 Honda 4wheeler seat. If you don’t have a good regulator it will drive the staples right the vinyl “Noggahide”. It is easy to use.

Attaché’s easily to my compressor. You can load a large supply of staples. Enough piwer to drive in the staples easily and quickly. The long driver allows you to get into tight areas. Saves time and frustration trying to use a manual hand held stapler.Hightly recommend.

I have used these guns for years and always were good but these last two guns are not good at all! The first one i requested a replacement and they sent it with no problems but it doesn’t work either … I gotten sick in between the time allowed for return and I missed it so wasted money… and I don’t see if where I can get a hold of them 😢

In Canada. This staple gun makes many holes in my upholstery without dispensing a staple. Only every 2nd or 3rd pull of the trigger works. Now gun is fully seized with the mandrel not retracting. Product was oiled after every use per typical pneumatic procedure.... Lasted only 5 months with very little use.NO WARRANTY!!!!!!!! DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!!

For the price, you can't beat it. I've used this for many projects for hard to reach places that a regular staple gun can't reach and this one works great.

I bought this for a single job I had to do. I was surprised by the high quality of the tool. It worked perfectly for the whole job without a single jamb or mis-fire. One drawback is it does not accept standard T-50 staples. It came with 3 boxes of metric staples which was more than enough for my project. I'm sure I can order metric staples in the future if I will ever need them.

Safety sucks. As others indicate it turns on by itself. Wear safety glasses as this unit can fire without contact with surface. Amazing amount in the kit for 49$. SS Staples would be nice. My unit says Model HT5014SP 20 gauge on the gun? Staples are 9 mm wide and they are close to .030x.022 in cross section. Mine had the issue where the tongue would not retract far enough to catch the next staple. During my disassembly the fix a worse issue the tongue see to retract 99% of the shots. My big issue was this tongue was cutting completely through my Artic vinyl that I was covering a ATV seat with. Operation pressure says 60-100 psi. Manual says to lower pressure to adjust depth. Even going below 60psi it still cleanly cut 100% through my fabric. If you go to low then the tongue doesn't have enough recoil to pull back. At least that's this M Engineers opinion. My solution was to take the front off and used the belt sander to shorten the tongue by a good 3/32" . I raised pressure back up to 60psi. Worked ok. But now it probably won't drive the staples as deep as desired in oak or harder wood. My ATV seat frame was plastic. just used this 2 times in the last week.. to put aluminum trim around a door on my shed and today top reupholster 4 stools in the kitchen.. its nice it comes with 2005 staples in 1/4 3/8 and 5/8 sizes.. hope i can find more staples when i need some. it worked flawless for a few hundred staples today... great tool after my fine tuning.

I took of the little bracket underneath that holds two screws . And then this way you can take the track out and hold the spring back and load it it works a hell of a lot better otherwise it doesn’t pull that retractor back so when you load your staples or won’t work take the bracket off then you can take the track out then load your staplers then let the spring go inside.
