Nice stapler. I have the Milwaukee and Dewalt staplers as well. We required several staplers for a repetitive project and these are a little lighter plus a lower cost. We could buy 2 vs 1 of the other brands. The tips take a bit to get use, prefer the tips on the other brands. For our project though, the angled lip on the tip allowed us to lock the tip on the edge of the work pieces before firing, allowing all the staples to be perfectly aligned. Great if you are nailing backs onto cabinets. Also the Metabo has no last staple lockout like the others, which is a little disappointing and can cause a dry fire. The unit has a lockout switch for the trigger and is “always on” so it’s ready to fire when you need it. Overall, prefer Milwaukee but these are great 1/4” crown staplers for the price.

This 18V stapler by Metabo HPT (formerly Hitachi) is a convenient tool for replacing pneumatic or corded narrow crown staplers and is especially handy not having to deal with an air hose or electric cord. The stapler is a little bulkier but is still lighter and more compact than my other brad nailer/stapler that I use. This kit is fairly basic and only includes the tool, charger and one 2 Ah battery. It would have been nice to have an extra battery as having just one will limit your working time, however the charger does recharge the battery fairly fast and if you don't already have Matabo HTP or Hitachi 18V tools, there are other brands of battery available that will fit this tool. As I understand, there is a difference between Metabo and Metabo HPT so you'd need to verify battery compatibility if it doesn't include the "HPT".The stapler features a fine depth adjuster to ensure the crown staples sit at your desired depth when working with different materials or staple lengths. The tool also features twin LED work-lights that do a good job of lighting up your work area while stapling. I did find that the LED lights stay on for an extended period of time after stapling but they do eventually turn off. This is still a solid stapler and feels like it's well built to handle years of use. At $163.29, it's competitively priced so I'll give this 5 stars.

I mostly use it for soffit installation and it saves so much time, I had one that worked with a compressor before and the hose is always tangled somewhere. The power is always on with this model, unlike bigger Fasteners Metabo models where you place your piece and nothing happens because you forgot to to press that tiny power led light button. I love it!!

Like all Metabo tools this stapler is very well made, high quality stapler that is light easy to operate and very functional. This stapler is just as powerful as my Senco air unit, is a good value for the money and can cycle almost as fast as the Senco. I found the batteries to be long lasting and quick charging. An excellent tool

first I will say I wish I had purchased this a long time ago. This tool works great. I used it for temporary installing vented soffit, this tool is great when you are doing work on a ladder by yourself.

This stapler is great. It's got a lot of power to punch staples in through heavy leather or multiple layers of duck cloth. If you're doing any sort of upholstery, this will do the job without a problem on harder woods and thicker material. Love the fact that it's cordless so I can get in and work at all the angles I need to and not be tethered to a cord.

This narrow crown nail stapler is built like a tank. Battery life is good, and it does a great job of driving the staples flush. The only drawback is that it is very heavy and will wear out your arm in a short period of time. After using it for several days, I went back to my air-driven stapler, as the fatigue was just too great for prolonged nailing. If you’re doing small jobs with limited staples, this tool will work fine. If you’re doing a lot of nailing, you probably ought to work out for a while before making this purchase. You’re going to need the added muscle.
