I have 3 guitars hanging on these right next to each other, including a fairly heavy bass that gets taken down daily. They've done great for close to a year now.

Was unsure when looking online but this has to be my favourite guitar wall mount I have ever purchased. Love that it is shaped as the body of an acoustic guitar, quality product, excellent value and I really like the black metal finish. Had no issues with installing and the guitars look great! Highly recommend.

These hold good. Wish installation was easier. I’m a single girl and I don’t own tools. i had to borrow my roommates and had to learn how to use the drill. Took me awhile to figure out that the hooks move to the side to drill in easier. But they came out nice

First of all, to the reviewer who said these aren't good for acoustic guitars....I guess it depends on the guitar. They worked perfect with my Taylor 314CE. Yes, it hangs close to the wall, but it doesn't touch it.I really like how sturdy these are, and the fact that the arms are as stiff as they are gives me confidence that that my guitars aren't going to slip out....I can "set" them how them to match the guitar's headstock.Overall, I'm very pleased.

First and foremost, when using wall hangers for guitars, I don't recommend using the supplied drywall anchors as they can loosen up over time and break free from the wall. I also don't trust the weight ratings of those anchors...steer clear if you can. You're much better off buying a 3.5-4" wide board for $5-$10 (at your local lumber store) and securing it to wall studs with 2" wood screws. Then secure these hangers to the board. If you go this route, ideally you want your board to be a 1x4...it should be at least 4" wide as the base plate of the hangers is about 3.5" from top to bottom. A board secured to wall studs is one of the sturdiest methods for hanging guitars, short of doing a masonry or concrete wall installation with proper masonry anchors. The other advantage of using a board is it makes installing these hangers super easy...just put the screws directly into the board, no need to drill or use a hammer for pounding in drywall anchors. It only took me about 10 minutes to hang 6 guitars. Just measure, grab your power drill, and secure the hangers to the board. It's really simple. The hangers work great...I took a photo of my finished installation for reference. The hangers work well for guitars of different shapes and sizes. No problems having the head stock rest comfortably on the hangers. Additionally, the curved arms on the hangers are surrounded with a fairly thick padded EVA foam sleeve to protect your neck/headstock from nicks, dings, or scratches. There's no bending the metal arms, they're thick gauge and incredibly strong. These were the most reasonably priced hangers I could find, costing roughly $3 each. They do the job and are plenty strong for hanging the weightiest guitars. Highly recommend for anyone looking to suspend their guitars from the wall. Great buy.

These are decent hangers for the price but I would not recommend using the drywall anchors included. I think the potential for “pull out” is great and your heavier guitars might come crashing to the ground.I suggest using an anchor with a toggle would serve you better and keep your instruments safe, or, as I did, mount a wood strip between the studs of your walls and then screw the hangers to that. Also, I took the time to tighten the nuts on the backside of the hangers before mounting as following the installation of the first one I did a test and saw that the forks of the hanger “sagged” under the weight.Tightening the nut seemed to solve that and all others following.
