I bought this (and a TRS cable) to use with my Strymon Brig after reading other reviews that it was compatible with Strymon pedals. I couldn't get it to work with a TRS cable (like the Strymon brand mini switch takes) because it has a mono jack. Swapped out the cable and boom, it works. I have it set for infinite repeats when pressed, and presume it will also do tap tempo if I didn't want to button-press around on the pedal to get that feature. It won't do 'favorite', I presume, since it is a momentary-only switch.

It works great with Strymon Brig and Flint. I have painted mine for better visibility on stage.

Bought this as a cheaper alternative to the known to work MXR tap pedal and could not get it to work for the TC Electronic Flashback Delay Pedal. I ended up returning the unit so I cannot really speak to its function otherwise.One thing I can say is that it is a little wide, most people don’t cram pedal boards so it’s not an issue but I like a compact backpack fit board and this tool up a bit of space.

Nice little switch box filled a need in a hurry for me. I needed a simple open close momentary switch for use to trigger a carrier tone from a Yaesu FT-897 radio so I could touch up tuning.The Yaesu took a 3.5 mm TRRS for that purpose, but this switch on a 1/4 to 1/8 cable into a L and R 3.5mm to 3.5 TRRS “stereo” adapter did the trick and I’m off to the airwaves.The silk screen lettering / logo is cheap looking and meh. I acetoned it off mine, along with some of the black.This switch is compatible with the various nifty colored pedal switch covers available on Amazon. I have a big red one on mine to make it easier to push by hand.

Compared to the others available in this price range, I thought this one was the least dumb looking. Though the fact that it says “tap switch” really big on top will still make you feel like a 5 year old being given directions. We know it’s a tap switch, that’s why we bought it! But it works great! I’m using it with a Boss DD8 and it performs perfectly.
