To start, I don’t think my amp’s jewel was designed to be changed out. The whole thing was made out of plastic. This new one has a nice metal housing. My amp actually has an orange LED behind the jewel, so that’s why I bought a clear one to replace the original. It looks way cleaner when turned off, but when turned on, it looks like the original because of the colored LED. Totally worth it.

This thing glows like the North Star. Actually painful to look at. I think it gave me epilepsy.

I bought one of every color, (red, blue, purple, green, violet, amber, clear and white) and I love them all. I couldn't decide which one was best so I just change em out every few weeks! These are an exact fit for ALL my fender amps and they are nicely made too. I almost bought the 'original fender' ones for $10. Are you kidding me? anyways... get these jewels
