Having had children that required PEG and NG/NJ for over 2 years, we know how painful it is to clean the tubes after meals. We also know how expensive it is to throw away a week's old tube just because of some stubborn food stuck in the tube. Therefore, we tailored this brush for our special needs and now we will like to share this item with everyone that need it.
The steel wires are sturdy enough to clean the toughest of stains and flexible (and sturdy) enough to remove leftover food and oil.
These brushes work with all PEG tubes, G-button tubes, AMT Mini one extensions!
Extend the life of the tubes. Don't throw them away too soon!
IMPORTANT Usage Instruction: - Wash thoroughly after every use. Thereafter, Rinse well and dry.
Product Specifications:
- Diameter about 2mm (1/16 inches)
- Entire Wire Length = about 80cm (31 inches)
- Brush Head Length = about 5cm (2 inches).
Brush head is made of good quality Nylon.
Package Includes: 2 x Tube Brushes
Care Tips: Soak the bristles of the brush in vinegar for a couple of hours and then rinse off with hot water. This will help loosen any remaining debris and keep the brush fresh!
**As recommended by experts, it is good practise to replace any brush after 3 months or when the brush is worn, whichever is earlier.

Hard to push into tube extension to clean the entire length of it and the wire leaves indentions in skin when feeding it in and removing it. The brush is the right size as I have tried another that was too wide and almost impossible to remove. If it had a handle or something over the wire to make it sturdy when feeding and removing it, I would rate it a five star. Will invest in a more expensive one with a handle next time.

Makes cleaning enfit connections so much more efficient! I used to have black gunk in mine whichgrossed me out. I had a longer tube (not button) for my first year, and those stay in for 6 months. Since they don’t come out of your belly, that meant hard to clean so they were always nasty. No more with this!

I use this brush on my family member’s PEG tube and it helped me clean away things I didn’t think were even accessible! I only really need it for the top section of the tube so although the length would be helpful it it was either very clogged or if we had an NG tube but either way it helps us have easy access to those floaters that get stuck on the side of the walls and help us cut down on the time it takes to clean the PEG tube! Very useful $7 spent.

I found this product through an online group, and I'm so glad that I did! I followed the instructions from the NICU and PICU to keep my daughter's extension clean, but there was still formula residue. Using this, the extension was able to pick up residue and it LOOKS clean.There's also some ASMR going on with how clean and satisfying it is to use. I'm really glad that I found this.

These cleaners are easy to use and work well at cleaning the gunk out of the extensions. I have a J-Tube Mic-Key button and I am limited in the amount of extensions my insurance will cover. These cleaners will extend the life of my extensions. They are longer and softer than a traditional straw cleaner so they reach all the way into the extension and they don't get stuck. They do still remove the gunk from formula and meds, though. Overall, a great purchase and 100% worth the small cost. Especially when you compare the cost of these to the cost of other tubie supplies. Thank you!

One of the 2 brushes does not have a rounded end. Will spoil my feeding tube.

These cleaning brushes are a G-tube must have. These cleaning brushes are absolutely absolutely the only way to get your G tube connection tubing remotely clean clean and safe enough for repeated use.. I had tried every cleaning method you could possibly think of with no success. The first time I used 1 of these brushes I couldn't believe how well they cleaned the tubing with very little effort and great results. They are sturdy and easy to clean . I am convinced that this product has improved my granddaughters health and has given me piece of mind knowing that she has clean tubing for every feeding. Her connection tubing now lasts 3 times longer Then before. I no longer have to worry about running out of supplies due to not being able to get her tubing clean enough to safely use.
