Perfect length with good sized ends, however, it needs stiffer bristles in my opinion. Still, it cleaned and cleared my drains.

This works great for cleaning the smelly soap scum that accumulates in our drains. I had a hard time finding something to fit in our kitchen drain because of the way the built in strainer is, but these are flexible and worked perfectly. No more smelly drains!

I was a little worried the bristles were not going to be stiff enough... but it worked well. Ran it into my stinking shower drain... then put vinegar and baking powder in the drain and then inserted the brush again. My bathroom no longer stinks like raw sewage!

First, it's a great concept. If you don't need much 'force' for your particular application, this will work fine. However, I think a serious clog would stop this in its tracks, because it just isn't stiff enough.Both the wire and the brush are pretty light duty. There is a brush on both ends, so you can't put this in a drill to get more cleaning action. This is strictly a manual operation.It's certainly a fine line between stiff enough and too stiff. The plus of this is that I think it will go around bends really easily, while a stiffer wire would not. I would say if you're just 'cleaning' out plumbing pipes, this might do the trick. If you really have a clog that you need to push through, look for something stiffer.
