It will cut a hole. But for the retail price and the additional tooling that most will need to use thus type of cutter, most people will probably be better off getting some good step bits instead of this.

This appears to be a great quality, and came well presented and wrapped so although it was pre-oiled from the factory none of that oil got out in transit. It also comes in a nice little case. Unfortunately I was thinking it would work in one of my regular drills or drill press, but the shank on this is huge so must need a special adapter which it does not come with.

Got this cutter to try to clean the bore for a pilot bearing, don't really feel like taking an engine apart to have the crank machined, I got nothing to lose! I was happy to see that the cutter is as described, 20mm. The carbide cutting inserts should make easy work of the extra material, so

This steel plate drill is really top quality and extremely efficient to use! It's sharpness and durability far exceeds any drill I've used before, and it easily penetrates even when faced with hard steel plate material, saving me a great deal of work time and physical effort. Highly recommended for those who need efficient drilling operations!

I am very pleased with the performance of this steel plate drill! Not only is it fast at drilling holes, but it also meets my high standards for accuracy. Both small and large holes are easily managed and drilled in the exact position. In addition, the heat dissipation of this drill is also very good, even under high intensity work can maintain stable cutting performance, really achieve the perfect combination of high efficiency and stability!

This is sharp. It cuts through steel so much better than a bi-metal holesaw. But you do need to use a liquid to cool it. Also you really need a way of holding it. It's designed to be used with a 3/4" Weldon holder. You might be able to put it in a 3/4" chuck but you may struggle to not have it wobble. It easily cut through a piece of 1/4" thick steel making a very clean test hole. I think these were designed for bridge workers using mag drills to make holes for bolts. But I have the Weldon holder for both my knee mill and drill press and will never go back to hole saws.

This will work in a regular 3/4" Weldon shank or the quick change type drills. Drills as expected, I am just a DYI guy so do not expect to wear this out anytime soon.
