The cap fits like a glove. The cap appears to be a heavy duty resin. Price is right without the "strap". It is easier to place the cap in the boot compartment rather than using a strap that the could be torn off during transit. The color is bright and stands out. well done.

Good fit. I also use a piece of electrical tape for added security. I use this product to help ensure that rain does not short circuit electrical contacts in my RV trailer plug. This happened to me recently when I noticed that after heavy rain, my trailer tail lights were illuminated while disconnected from the tow vehicle. Apparently rainwater short-circuited two adjacent contacts, causing the trailer battery to backfeed the trailer tail lights.

Size fit perfectly. Lanyard was right length. Not sure about the quality of rigid plastic used to manufacture it and the seal to keep water and contaminats out, but time will tell. Would have liked it to have been more of a silicone based flexible product.
