How does it work?

Questions and Answers
1. Inaccurate distance?
Indoors, buildings, house, trees and cloudy weather will result in inaccurate set distances. Thus we strongly recommend you to use it in an open area with a sunny day.
2. Does the button not work?
It should be the screen has been locked. Press both the "Up" and “ Down” at the same time to unlock it.
3. Is there continuous sound ?
There are two reason may cause continuous sound.
a)Low battery and it will remind you with a continuous sound, please charge it when the battery is low.
b)You/your dog may carry it stay out of safe area for a longtime. When six stimulus is ended, the GPS fence will ONLY release continuous sound last for about 10 minutes to remind you.

Operating Steps
Turn On The GPS Collar
Go outdoors, press the Power Key. Wait for fence to acquire satellites signals, the number of satellites will be displayed when it is completed.
Locate The Center Point
Walk to the center point. Press the Power Key to locate the center point. Upon successful positioning, the real-time distance will be shown as 0000.
Set Radius Area
Press M button, the distance has been already selected. Press up/down to adjust the radius of the safe area.
Set Training Modes
Press the M botton to select the Shock/Vibration/Volume mode setting. Press up/down to adjust the strength(from 0 to 9 grade).
Re-Thread The Collar
Re-Thread the collar as shown in the picture according to your dog's needs.
Install The Collar
Install the contact points and safe silicone cap.
Where to use
Notice
1. The GPS Pet Collar Fence Is Only for Outdoor Use. Your yard radius must be greater than 99 foot. The larger the area, the more accurate the signal.
2. Buildings, house, trees nearby or cloud would affect the GPS signals. The error margin may be 33ft depending on your environment.
3. Not suitable for puppies.

This fence measures the radius from the controller. Once outside the set area, both vibration and shock functions are used when the dog leaves the containment area. Waterproof and rechargable, a quality item. Easily set up with no digging and no cables. No SIM cards so use it anywhere. A great device to keep Rover contained. You will need a little training time so don't just run out and expect this to work. Do your homework before venturing out or allowing your dog a large area to roam freely.

I ordered this to help train our dachshund on which areas she's allowed in our yard. She follows simple commands, but she has a stubborn streak as most dachshunds do. I don't intend to use the shock feature but the beep and the vibrate may help. I like that the instructions are clear and the device does seem to be functional. It's below freezing outside, so we have not yet set it up. That said, it seems very easy to set up with detailed instructions. Once we have a warmer day, I will post an update. I think this should be used in coordination with repetitive, consistent training for best results.

This is not simple at all. They recommend for hiking and camping, this tells me someone had trees in mind, but you can’t obtain satellite signal with trees in the way or clouds. So I can only put my pet outdoors on sunny days in a non wooded area ? Anyway, it’s been cloudy the last couple of days so no satellite signal to be had.
