Spool arrived broken which made running the wire an exceptional pain in the a$$. It isn't well labeled that this is solid core wire, which tends to hold memory form much more than its stranded counterpart, which in turn makes laying the wire difficult. It is fine for burial applications bit not so much for ground laying thru the woods like I needed. It does work and was inexpensive which is a plus. Very difficult to work with.

Ordered this because description says solid copper , it is not . It is a copper coated steel wire . Not meant for dog fences but a cheap alternative that they are charging a premium for .
