Installation Tip—
Mounting screws: Pilot holes required. Installing delicate screws into hard wood requires great care and accuracy. We highly recommend a No. 50 bit for the pilot hole before installing these screws. Lubricate the screw threads with cutting lubricant (also wax or a bar of soap) to reduce friction and help them thread properly.

These weren't a drop-in fit for my Cordoba C12, but, the install process was pretty easy. I only had to drill two holes and fill in the previous 2 with toothpicks and glue. Had to replace the stock tuners because the gears were faulty when I bought the guitar (it was B-stock). Haven't had a problem with them since! Highly recommended, and the buttons feel great.

I ordered the Gotoh machine tuners because the gears on the cheap but pretty tuners on my classical guitar stripped after one string change. I've never done it before, but I installed the new tuners by myself, and it was super easy. I had to use the fatter screws from the previous tuners because the tiny screws that came with Gotoh weren't big enough, but my classical is 50 years old, so I expected it. It was so nice not to hear the crunching of gears when tightening the strings. I'll update if there are any issues during the next string change, but I can already tell the tuners are higher quality. They look good, too, especially for being just over $100.

Expensive but good quaility. Install on my La Patrie Concert was flawless.

I bought these to have them installed on my 28 year old Fender CG-5. A cheap guitar, I know, but it's the first guitar I bought for myself and it is a cherished instrument, hence my desire to upgrade the ancient, poorly-made tuners that came on it.My luthier friend said installation was fairly easy, and I was more than pleased by how they looked on my old guitar. And the operation is so smooth that it was frankly alarming; I had gotten so used to the grinding noised and stiff action that these were shockingly good in comparison. They're VERY stable too, so these things are killer all around.

I used these to upgrade my old Alvarez Yairi 5307. They were an easy replacement, it took about five minutes from start to finish. I did have to redrill the two mounting screw holes in the middle of the tuners, but that's no biggy. The end holes matched perfectly, and the tuning machines slid right into the old holes perfectly. I recommend these.

I should start with I am a novice player. I put these on a yard sale Epiphone. installation was very easy, I did reuse the old longer screws. This product is 100 times better than the broken garbage that came off. very smooth tuning and hold the tune

I had to do some minor fitting work to make these work properly but that's because I installed them on a less expensive (read low end) guitar. All in all they work fine. They're not as smooth as I expected for the price.
