i actually purchased this item thinking it would be a perfect fit but i failed to read the item description and assumed it would fit on my MP5K and so turned out to not be an exact perfect fit. i did however install onto my MP5K with little modification.

Red dot is pretty awesome but the mount doesn’t fit to well. Had to work on grinding on the notched side multiple multiple times to get it to lay somewhat flat. Ended up grinding to much and now it shifts alittle so doesn’t keep on target great. Ended up having to try another brand and so far the new one seems to be working and holding the red dot pretty good

This mount was a very tight fit, but I would rather have a tight fit so the sight doesn't move around. My rifle is a 1st Anniversary GSG 5, and the mount was made for it.

Only place it mounts is on the front where its still edged blocking the ability to slap the charging handle due to the middle nipple thing the claw does not allow for n the space between that and front sight is not enough to mount it due to its length. It only works in front of charging handle.

I was worried after I installed the first one and the rear screw stripped out immediately but they sent me a replacement that got here in two days and it holds up great on my century arms C308

I bought this to install on my Umarex AEG MP5k. Once I figured out that it only installs "ugly side out" (the big chunky mounting tabs are visible when holding the gun right handed) it went on real easy. The front cleat installed fine, but the rear one I had to elongate the hole a bit upwards in order for the screw to fit through. For $12, it works. This is the most aluminum feeling aluminum of all the aluminum I've felt - it feels outrageously alumunium-ish, which I would not say is a good thing. Aluminum. Works fine for attaching a cheap red dot to a "gun" with zero recoil but I'm sure if you owned an actual MP5, you'd laugh at this thing and keep it far, far away from your precious equipment.Tacticool. shrug. Holds my tiny little sight just fine. Would have liked the ugly bits on the other side, or to be smaller so they're not so ugly, but... it's $12. The rail seems to be within spec and I'm sure any standard pic-rail doo-dad will attach and fit nicely.
