One of the main features of the Version 2 is the development of the inner and outer lining, which provides a number of new features and advantages. The flexible inner layer provides adjustable straps for shaping to your dogs body, allowing for greater comfort and better fit. Additionally, the inner layer provides weather protection of your dog's torso, keeping this part of your dog dry. And for those dogs that are excitable and can be sensitive to pullover-style apparel, the step-in style of the inner layer makes wearing it simple and convenient. The outer layer keeps the visor cap and the leash attachment d-rings of our original raincoat and now includes reflective material for better visibility for those nighttime walks.

FYI! The Gooby in our photos is a Large (not a small as it says) on a 27 pound Frenchie with a long back. We are about to purchase our third Gooby!. Not because they have worn out but he started wearing this raincoat as a puppy and he rolls around in the grass and any other dirty place when it rains. He initially refused to go out in the rain. I went thought seven expensive raincoats until I figured out he didn’t care about his body getting wet. It was his face! I saw my first Gooby at Wolf Gang Bakery in Charleston and thought what the heck, nothing else has worked. The visor on our Gooby works like a shield and protects his face. Our Frenchie is big—27 lbs and 23” chest. He could wear a medium but we are buying a large now to make sure the visor goes down over his face. I cut off the elastic bands around the legs and just flip the back up a little. It has light, bendable wire so it doesn’t get in the way of going potty. Thanks to our Gooby, he wants to stay outside when we walk. This is the best dog rain coat ever! And everyone loves it. Two of our neighbors just bought them for their rain reluctant dogs!

Yellow, Size Large. Fits our two 23 lb American Cocker Spaniels perfectly.Good fit and keeps them dry, especially around the neck, back and head with good coverage on the sides as well. The Gooby raincoat has a unique harness system. The clever built-in harness eliminates the problems that can happen when using a leash. With other types of raincoats the leash attached to a dog collar can pull the hood down or shift the coat to one side when passed through a raincoat leash hole.Legs and tummy can still get wet from splashing during rainy walks however nothing short of a full jumpsuit would stop that.The Gooby raincoat is a 2 piece garmet and does take a bit more effort to put on however, since we get a lot of rain, it's extra protection is worth the effort.

This raincoat has a very poor design! Wouldn't stay on my dog because it didn't have enough fasteners!
