Measurements aren't clear for sizes. So I guessed and it is big on my dog.

This coat uses a three-part closure: a middle part that runs along the belly and two side flaps that connect to the middle part with a velcro-like closure. The velcro on the middle part cannot accommodate both flaps and the whole bottom winds up dragging on the ground. It's simply a poorly thought out design.

This dog poncho is easy to put on, and so useful! I got it for practical reasons, not because I think dogs with clothes are cute even though they are! Our large dog has super thick fur and it would be a project to dry her after walking her in the rain, something which could not be avoided since we can’t control the weather and have specific windows of time where we can walk her. We were dreading walks in the rain bc it took a good 30 min of towel drying and even using a blow dryer so we didn’t have a wet dog stinking up the house and wetting the rugs and other surfaces. This poncho was a bit large, she likely needed a large instead of an extra large and it hangs a bit off the back, but I just folded it in a bit and may sew it that way so it doesn’t drag when she squats down to use the bathroom. The poncho has reflective strips that are great for safety at night. She doesn’t seemed bothered when she wears it and doesn’t try to shake it off. The hood however doesn’t work at all, it covers her eyes, that could be because I ordered too large a size but it could also be because of the breed. Either way we don’t mind drying her head and whatever isn’t covered by the poncho because it keeps most of her body and fur dry.

I've been looking for a raincoat for my dogs for quite some time and when my eye caught this poncho I had to give it a shot. I ordered this poncho in a size 7 thinking it was larger than it actually was.I do like how the ClawsPurrfect water-proof raincoat is constructed. The fabric is truly water-proof. The rain beads down the fabric and the areas covering your dog do keep them dry. It's quality made with nice tight stitching throughout. There are no areas of concern with any future unraveling or with the heavily stitched velcro strips ever coming off. I like that this poncho does have reflective striping making your pet visible when walking them in the rain at night. the convenient window with flap for your leash also keeps the rain out. The ease of putting on was a bonus too. You just slip the hoodie over their head and the velcro straps on each side fasten to the chest creating front leg holes for your pup.I feel like the sizing chart was unclear and should have included measurements in inches in addition to centimeters. As well as each size should include an example of which type of breed would be ideal for each size. For example: a size 6 would be ideal for smaller breeds such as Poodles, Maltese, Pugs, Papillon, Havanese, etc. A size 7 (the size I ordered) would be more ideal for breeds such as Cocker Spaniel, Springer Spaniel, Beagle, Australian Cattle Dog, etc. The description says the same for each size "Suitable for large and medium: Designed for large and medium-sized dogs".I have two dogs. A Golden Retriever and a Dutch Shepard mix, both dogs weigh about 65 pounds. I'm still unclear as to which size poncho will be the best fit for my dogs, but leaning toward ordering a size 12 just to be safe.If you can determine the appropriate size for the best fit for your pup, I would highly recommend giving this poncho a try as everything else about it is great.

We got this for one of our dogs and it fits him perfectly! He's on the smaller end, only weighs about 42 pounds and the size 10 fits him perfectly. We were at the dog park and it started to downpour while we were there and his coat kept him perfectly dry (under the coat of course lol) the little tail loop is perfect to keep it over his back end well.

I've had problems getting a good dog raincoat for my growing 6-month old lab -- Large is still too big for him although he'll grow into it, and most mediums don't fit right. They're either too tight around his chest or they're so short half his back is uncovered so there's amost no point in using a coat.This jacket is the best I've used so far. what's good about it is:- It works. It will keep your dog dry. We were out this morning in pouring rain and only his paws and snout got wet.- It's a longer than other coats of this size so he's completely covered.- It's easy to put on and take off, even when the dog thinks getting dressed is a game and he wiggling like crazy.- It's roomy enough that he won't outgrow this as quickly as he has with other coats.The jacket is very lightweight. While it will keep your dog dry, it don't keep it warm in very cold weather, but I think that's a plus as it won't overheat the dog when used in warm weather.I do find the hood to be pretty much useless though as it covers his whole head so he can't see so he doesn't like having it pulled up. That seems to be the case with pretty much all the coats and jackets with hoods though, so if all I need to do is dry his head I'm still very happy.

Great quality light weight dog rain coat ,to put it on just put the dogs head through opening at the hood ,lay the coat across dogs back straighten up and wrap the tummy strap to opposite side and attach to Velcro strip to your dog’s comfort.The hood tends to cover the dogs eyes ,so far ive not found any dog raincoat where that doesn’t happen.
