Excellent open gear tuners, Smooth, precise with no play whatsoever. I would rate these just as good as the GOTOH SXB510 at half the price. I put them in a Guild OM-140CE and they were pretty much drop in. Couldn't be happier!

The photo doesn't show the part of the shaft closest to the plate. There is a large ring on the base like on grovers and modern tuners. NOT A DIRECT FIT FOR VINTAGE TUNERS like Klusons, you would need to ream the hole bigger. I replaced the modern closed gear tuners on a Made in Mexico Martin, and still had to ream about 1mm. The tuner itself is high quality and better than most import tuners, just as good as Grovers or Gotoh. These are also better quality than the Golden Gate open gear tuners with the cream button.

I read on a forum these were direct drop ins for my guitar as the cheap plastic knobs broke off. I ordered them and I'm impressed of the quality of the metal and the way they were made. The tuning is flawless and probably some the easiest tuners I've used. They look like they belong on the guitar.
