Very sturdy bar. Easy to assemble. Does not take up a lot of room. Only down side was DVD was not in the package.

First of all, my order arrived 6 days earlier than expected. The box it was shipped in was in perfect condition and I received everything that I was supposed to get. Inside the long box, there was a wood barre, legs and extensions. There were also 2 small boxes, one at the top of the box and the other was attached to the bottom. The top box included hardware, DVD and a booklet. Second box which was attached to the bottom contained the ball. The bottom box with the ball is very easy to miss if you don't look very carefully at the packaging before you throw it out. NOTE: don't look for a separate sheet of paper with instructions on how to assemble it. The instructions are included in the exercise booklet that's in one of the small boxes. Assembly was very easy and it took only about 30minutes, but you will probably need someone to help you while you put it together. The wood barre is very smooth and has no rough edges. Make sure you read the instructions to ensure the holes are facing the right way before you secure the barre to the legs. This barre is of excellent quality and is very sturdy while it's still very easy to move around if you need it. I'm very happy with my purchase.

The ballet bar is high quality equipment and very sturdy. It is part of my daily workout routine with my trampoline. Highly recommend.

The bar is very sturdy and easy to adjust, but there is no level or guides so you could set it up lopsided and not really know unless you stand back to check. I do like that you can turn the feet to lean against the wall out of the way, but just note that a child could pull it down while the feet are not perpendicular to the barre and the unit is very heavy so it could injure if falls or is not controlled. The soft ball is great and I don't recall/nor do I see the resistance band. I have done videos other than what was sent with this and haven't finished the material that came with. I haven't been a video work out queen in decades (I'm older, used to play soccer & volleyball as adult, jogged, swam, weights...not intense). In the book and video there are lots of calf raises with additional movements added during the calf raise. These are NOT for someone with a history of plantar fasciitis...I'm in quite a bit of pain...BE PREPARED TO DO at least the latter half FLAT FOOTED...I would not do calf raises regularly with plantar fasciitis. Though there are roughly 20 pages, with multiple exercises per page, the first 7 exercises are all calf raises...I DO ENJOY THEM FLAT FOOTED. The video was a little odd, what I worked through, calf raises with open legs and squatting...felt like I was *training* for heterose-u-l se-...I get it ab and leg work...but when is that an obvious work out and again, why so many calf raises in either workout? And there is an exercise or two with the namaste hand position that is completely worthless (I don't worship fallen angels/not yogi)...in fact several exercises in which the arms are doing absolutely nothing, but wait we were supposed to be exercising. I did an intro ballet video many times (I skip the up on the balls of feet or on toe positions and really those are very painful without excellent ballet slippers). Callanetics with this. They work with this and are a benefit.

Nice bar. Easy to set up and adjust.Our package came with all the pieces plus the ball, band and DVD. Be very careful though and open up both ends of the box or you might miss the resistance band or Pilates ball. They are put in boxes at each end that might look like just the bottom of the box if you just look down from one end and don’t open it up both ways. Not sure if that is what happened to others who were missing pieces.

First of all, to address some issues others have had: The wooden barre has 2 sides for the bolt holes, so make sure you have the larger hole side up when you put it together. The one reviewer obviously didn't know this and put the bolt in the smaller hole, causing the top of the bolt to stick up. You're supposed to inset the bolt into the larger hole, then they fit perfectly and are recessed. Also, CHECK THE WHOLE BOX for items!!!! I also thought that they didn't put in the ball and DVD, but there are 2 other boxes, and one is taped right down at one end so it won't slide out when you're removing pieces. I only found it when I was breaking down the box to recycle it, so LOOK CAREFULLY!!! Also, the assembly instructions are in the Go Barre booklet, it's not a separate single sheet of paper. I didn't realize this either, but it was easy to put together anyway, lol. IF YOU DIDN'T GET A DVD: The whole workout is on Youtube on the GoFit channel. :)My actual review: This barre is super sturdy!! The wooden barre I got was totally smooth, though I may still put some clear varnish on it. It's solid and the barre is very strong. The barre alone is worth the price of the whole set, it's that good. I had no issues with the orange flatband, it works fine for me. The blue ball is as expected, works fine. Overall I'm super happy with this set and glad I took a chance, even with the wonky reviews! I love barre workouts and now I can do more of them with an actual barre!

I'm not the ballerina in the house, bought this for my wife. Assembly was quick and easy, sturdy materials and construction, nothing's flimsy here. She is very happy with it so far and I will update, if anything changes in her opinion. Well worth the money!

I didn't have high hopes based on some of the reviews, but I thought I'd give it a shot. I'm so glad I did! The base is well-designed and very sturdy. There are height markings on the inner bars to make sure the barre is level when raising and lowering. There is plenty of room to have one person on either side at the same time. It also came with all the accessories mentioned. I love it!!
