About Us

GlueTread is a family owned business that was quite literally started in our garage. The Auble family grew up riding ATV's, using farm equipment and enjoying the outdoors together. When the opportunity was presented to start a business around these passions, we hopped on it! Everyday, we work together to bring products to market that will make your off-road experience more enjoyable and affordable while trying to reduce the number of tires that end up in a landfill. Dave has a professional background in engineering and he's not new to running his own business. Andy's background is in product development where he worked with a team in Salt Lake City, Utah bringing products from concept to shelf in big-box retailers, like Lowe's and Michael's Craft Stores. GlueTread Adhesive is 90% cured after 20 minutes and 100% cured after 1-hour.

Bought the kit, the extra glue and this. Folks say this is a must have, I've thankfully not had the need to use it, but I have high hopes if I ever should get a sidewall puncture on the SxS

I have not been forced to use this product yet, but when I need it I am glad I have it in the pack. The standard Glue Patch is awesome, with one drawback in that you have to wait quite a while for the patch glue to cure before you can re-pressurize your tire. If you are on a long ATV/bike ride that means you are stuck in the middle of nowhere for an hour or more. This accelerator allows you to apply the patch, and then re-pressurize your tire almost immediately. In an emergency situation, this is very important for safety.

Used the accelerator with one of their other kits and it worked well. Didn’t have to wait for the glue to dry. Just be sure to put the patch on first and spray this after.
