These are lovely bowls and they come very well packaged. The glass is thick, the tops of the bowls have a nice, rolled edging, and I really like the bowl depths. They are a little deeper than other glass bowls that I own with the same diameters. These bowls are usable in all respects; freezing, chilling, warming, and baking. They go through the dishwasher with no issues. The bamboo lids fit well and are attractive, although I find the utensil cutouts on the large bowl lid strange and not appropriate if you are using the bowl for something other than a leafy salad. What I do think is unreasonable is the price. While I understand that the bowls are made from a special grade of glass, this is a really high price for just three bowls, especially with the smallest one being soup bowl size.

Looks great as a center piece, comes in handy when prepping big salads and also great for washing the vegetables before serving. Great buy for the money.

We do a ton of food at work, and I hate trying to do candy salad or regular salad with normal spoons, so I grabbed this. I love it, it's big enough to make a good sized portion to share, and I love that the utensils and lid all stay together. I can literally toss the salad by shaking it and I have the utensils to stir.

This bowl and lid appeared very well-made, and I could not find any flaws. The bowl was pretty smooth. The lid just sits on top of the bowl and is not anything you snap on, though it does have an inner smaller circle portion to help keep the lid in place. The utensils are handy, but also do not snap into the lid. If you need to store the lid on it's side you'll have to put the utensils somewhere else, or in the bowl itself.Otherwise it's a nicely made salad bowl set, and I recommend it.

the idea of having an attractive medium/large glass salad bowl with a wood lid that could serve as a cutting board when turned over and that incorporates wooden salad serving and tossing tools is great ... it's perfect for bringing something to a community dinner or a potluckthe idea, that is ... the implementation falls short in a couple of critical ways: first, the lid is not exactly loose but it comes off far too easily for something that you'd want to take along to a friend's ...it would be much more useful if it had an airtight gasket seal; and the wood lid would be better if it weren't raw bamboo ... either an oil finish or some sort of waterproof shellac or urethane would make a lot of difference not just in appearance but in terms of staining and utility
