Giro is a very good name in cycling so, after an accident that damaged my previous helmet, I bought this one. Pleasantly surprised. The size adjustment system works very well and is very smooth. Since I prefer to wear my helmets rather tight, it's nice that it doesn't put pressure on any particular spot but, spreads the force all the way around the band. The chin strap is sufficiently long for an adult without having to force it to close because the straps aren't long enough. The helmet, itself, is very "airy" feeling because of all the vents and it has great coverage. I hope this one doesn't get put to the test.

My second Giro, but my first Giro Source. VERY secure. It wraps my head instead of sitting on top of it. I was looking for one with an adjustable visor and this popped up. I commute in Florida and, two helmets ago, I spilled off my 29" MTB, striking the curb with my helmeted head. The paramedics found me staggering around with my broken Bontrager helmet in my hand, marveling over still being alive. I am convinced the Mips helmet saved my life. I got real serious about helmets after that. I've been using this Giro Source for six months and it is fantastic. Wearing it makes me feel stronger.

I spent some time adjusting this for me. Once the chin straps are in the correct place, this is a phenomenal helmet. No frills but who cares. It there to protect my head not send signals. Anyway, love the color, the fit and feel and ventilation is good. No complaints at all!

This helmet was a gift. After being used for a few seasons, the owner is happy with the fit, style, and comfort, and (happily) he has not crash-tested it.

A good helmet, as my oldest Son reminded me, is the best safety gear for riding. Everything else can heal, for the most part. Fit and finish is perfect. Measured my head, selected the right size range and made some adjustments when it arrived. Most comfortable bike helmet I've ever owned and I can tell, the MIPS system would offer excellent protection should I ever need it. I also have a slightly larger than average head, so being able to get the right size was great.

I love the color, super light, has a visor and I think it was on sale for half off. Great brand and I know this will be wore more than unworn
