Gorgeous and exactly as described. Originally was going to hire a plumber to install since I have no experience with pipes, but the instructions seemed pretty straightforward. Did it all by myself in under an hour. Works beautifully, instructions with pictures make installation super easy! Great product, worth every penny. Even came with an in counter soap dispenser I didn’t realize when I purchased.

We got our faucet and it worked for about 10 seconds then stopped responding, their support was great and first sent us a replacement battery pack/sensor and when that didn't work sent a new faucet. Were very responsive and now is functioning just fine. Only down side I've noticed is that the spout doesn't come out as far as our old so instead of running water into the center of the sink it runs very near the back edge of the sink.

This faucet has been a serious game changer. We are over the moon happy with our new Gimli Touchless faucet in our kitchen. We hadn't realized how convenient it was to not have to manually turn on/off the water. Not only do you not have to set down what's in your hands, but you also save the hassle of having to do the hand gymnastics to operate the faucet in a way that prevents whatever's on your hands from getting on the faucet, saving the work to clean it.Besides the touchless operation we also like:* the pull down sprayer is super helpful when cleaning the sink or rinsing dishes off. We came from a faucet with a removable spigot which offered similar functionality, but it was cumbersome and its resting place was that of a traditional faucet and was harder to return to its spot. The hose is long enough to reach the furthest corners of the 33" Ruvati workstation sink we have so there's plenty of length.* you can move the faucet completely out of the way as it will swivel as far to the right/left as you wish* the matte black finish is immaculate and appears very durable. Time will tell, but at this point it looks like it will look this nice for a long time. All parts* Gimli also sells a filtered water spigot and a soap dispenser in the same finish so everything matches* the touchless feature can run off of batteries (4 AA) or via A/C adapter.* installation was straightforward. The hardest part of the installation was making sure that with all that was installed (faucet, filtered water spigot, soap dispenser, garbage disposal on/off button, water hoses, battery pack for faucet) that the pull down feature worked correctly and the weight wasn't obstructed.Things to consider when purchasing:* The selector for hot/cold water will rotate away from the sink for cold water. Once our backsplash is installed it is likely that the full range of the cold water will be shorter. I popped off the rubber plug and unscrewed the set screw hoping to adjust the orientation of what "all the way cold" was such that we had the full range. However, the set screw affixes the selector to a square "cog" which requires a 90 degree adjustment rather than just a few degrees. My suggestion to Gimli would be to redesign this piece from being a square to more of a cog with teeth to allow a finer adjustment in this area. This is a minor concern and if it bothers me too much I'll make the 90 degree adjustment and deal with the fact that it will protrude into the sink when turned all the way hot.* the faucet appears to require power either from battery or A/C which if we move to the A/C adapter might pose a problem during a power outage. The power sources are swappable though so in a pinch we can switch them out.Even with the very minor thing of the hot/cold selector, we are completely happy with our purchase. The faucet is one of the things that sets off our kitchen. It's such a pleasure using the sink now.

I purchased this faucet because I love the look, but I also wanted the touchless turn on/off. The first few weeks it worked perfectly.. After that, I had almost no water pressure. My house is brand new and so is my plumbing. Every other faucet in my house works fine. So we decided to replace the batteries.. a few days later I was back to almost no water pressure. We decided to order the electric adapter. I re-ran the electric plug-in underneath my sink to fit it.. it worked ..But only for a few days. The whole purpose of me buying this faucet is because it’s touchless. We sent the company an email and no one has responded. I would love a number to call. My husband disabled the touchless adapter and my water pressure is perfect.. There’s no point in having a touchless sink faucet if you can’t use it. Hopefully someone from the company will read this and get back to me.

I’ve had this sink for about 3 months now and I love it. It took some time to get used to using just the sensor to turn it on and off but now that I’m used to it I can’t go back. Really impressed with the quality and sensor for the price. The only time the sensor messes up is if a reflective pot is too close, it can turn it off or on but just hold it down lower. As far as installing kitchen faucets go, it’s pretty easy and the sensor was pretty simple too.

Edited: The company responded and is going to refund the price difference to us.The first one we got was defective and the sensor did not work. We attempted to contact the company but could not find any way to contact Gimili despite there being a box to click to contact them on their website. The box to contact them took me back to amazon home page. My husband ordered a replacement faucet (the same one) on his account but it was $35.00 more than the one I returned on my account. So we had to suck up the extra $35.00. I realize we should have done the return and re-purchase on the same account but there is no way to let amazon know that this happened. I did explain it in the return page box but have not heard anything back from them to see if we could be refunded the additional money we had to pay. Otherwise, the faucet looks nice and the replacement one worked but we will see how long it lasts.
