I use this for two things... I have a pearl bass drum tom mount and put this in there to attach a cowbell. (Though I did need to use a longer arm on it). The other is that I use it to mount a single rototom on it (I hate the standard stand). Works great solid and long.

Worst Gibraltar product ever! No matter how I tried to position this arm, nor how tight I tried to make the wingnut/eyebolt that holds the 9.5mm L-arm, it would constantly twist and allow the cowbell to fall out of place. Avoid and spend the extra to purchase either the Pearl or Yamaha Cowbell Arm.
