Had the previous version of this from 5-6 years ago where the door never worked well even with the factory magnet modification.This redesign is way better and works great.Wish the flag was a bit tighter when upright but it works well.Would still have the first one if the car did not hit it. The car actually had more damage. I felt bad as it was a friends car as they were parking in front of my house :(

Beautiful mailbox. Had to return first one because it came damaged but replacement item was fine. Good customer service. Fast and responsive. Thank you. Coordinates well with house. Reasonable to install on existing post with new sleeve

We wanted a larger mailbox and this one is perfect. It's made of solid metal and the magnetic door is very strong. No worries of it popping open. We are very pleased with this purchase.

My last mailbox from this company lasted less than two years before the side hinge came apart (metal fatigue). I looked at changing brands but opted against it because I didn't want to install a different post. This mailbox did not have a side hinge, so I decided to take a chance on it. No mounting hardware was supplied, but I saved the rusty screw from the previous box and reused them. This box mounted to the same post as the last one and seems to be plenty sturdy. It holds my magnetic numbers as well as the last mailbox did. We'll see if it lasts more than two years.

This sturdy, attractive mailbox is something I am proud to have grace the front of my yard where everyone can see it. Its a little larger than my former mailbox and so much more attractive than that old aluminum standard box! I would have given it 5 stars but for one thing; the flag, when not in the upright position covers the area where my address numbers should be. The numbers need to be on the same side as the flag because anyone driving down the street looking for the address would only see it if it is on the right side (where the flag is). I made do by applying the numbers toward the back of the right side but they would have looked much better in the center of the space for the address. I know the flag needs to be on the right side so the mail carrier can see it when driving down the street. The box could have been engineered so the flag rested above the address space.
