it claims to be the whole set. it only comes with the stick, not the mop head. was replaced and also did not include mop head. now i have to return this extremely large and bulky box. so inconvenient.

When you wash the mop head, the strings fall out. I had a replacement, and the replacement was worse.

I bought this mop for our local squash court. We only have one court in our community and it is run by volunteers. When it opened 2 years ago, a simple floor dust mop was purchased, but it was not doing a great job. I remembered the janitors at our high school with these good looped brooms they used on the gym floors. So I searched for one on Amazon. I ended up getting this one, which was moderately sized and priced, to see how it would work. It is a big improvement over what we had before. I went down one-star only since I wish the loops were more tightly spaced and possibly a bit longer in loop length. All the parts are solid construction and easily assembled. I may purchase a different mop head in the future, but for right now this one certainly meets our needs and does a pretty darn good job.

I looked at home depot for a dust mop like this and at Canadian tire without having any luck and since Amazon has everything, of course I found it here! And it's exactly what I was looking for too! I'm pleased with the job it does and I love it.

I have very dark wood floors and unfortunately EVERYTHING shows. I was going crazy sweeping (with a regular broom) and vacuuming. I decided to give this dust mop a try and although, it's not a perfect solution, it helps out tremendously. I now only do a quick 3 minute dust sweep and my floors look so much cleaner. I haven't yet cleaned it so I can't say how that will work out...

I was using a Shark vacuum with the hard flooring attachment to clean light colored dirt and dust off 750 sq. ft of dark vinyl plank flooring every time a real estate agent wanted to show my home. An 8 inch cloth/microfiber head on the vacuum was only cleaning 6 inch strips when you deduct the two inch overlap I used. This took about 10-15 minutes and I was sore after each cleaning due to holding the vacuum motor in one hand and the wand in the other, and flipping the power cord out of the way occasionally. With the dust mop I can overlap a couple more inches so I don't have to worry about being precise and I can move much faster, nearly non-stop, with the excellent swivel action shaving off a few seconds each time I turn 180 degrees versus the vacuum, which had to do many more turns due to it's small width. I've cut the 10-15 minute cleanup time down to 2 minutes or less, which doesn't even begin to make me sore, and gives me more time to spend on other tasks I need to do before an agent brings a potential buyer by.

Very strong mop that does our whole floor quickly. Plastic screw in mop I bought previously broke the first use, so I went with a wooden/metal setup. Now I can swivel without fear of breaking. Great purchase

Just the right size for our house. I use it about everyday for a very quick cleaning of our wood floors, takes about 5 minutes to clean the whole kitchen, office and laundry. It swivels just like professional ones, shakes out nice, has good weight to it, nicely made. The dust mop head itself says it's machine washable (5''x24'') although I haven't had mine long enough to need to wash it so I'm not sure how well it will hold up(made in china) but it goes on and off easy with just a couple of snaps. The frame for the mop head is metal and I like the wooden handle.UPDATE: The mop head itself did not stand up to use let a lone washing. Before I washed it even once the fabric and snaps ripped out of the vinyl like fabric on the top that holds it on the mop head. I have since replaced the mop head with one that is made in USA. My dust mop arrived a couple of days ago and I am very glad that I trusted all of the good reviews and purchased it! My whole house is hardwood floor and for some reason I have never thought of using a dust mop, I have always just used a broom. This thing saves me so much time gathering all of the dirt and debris from the floor to a little pile to be swept up. The handle is solid wood and a good length for me (I'm 5' 11"). On the end of the handle is a metal clip that the head frame clips into. This connection is strong yet allows quick removal of the head if you want to remove it. The head frame is made from steel round stock is and very sturdy. The mop head itself slips onto the head frame, it is a pretty tight fit but goes on easy enough. If it gets dirty just remove the mop head and put it in the washing machine. I have had zero problems with this mop, it is truly awesome.

I bought this for two reasons. The detachable head, meaning I can either remove and wash the head, or if that doesn’t work I can replace it without paying to replace the handle, and the 360 degree swiveling.It doesn’t actually swivel. I’ve tried everything to get it to swivel, and nothing works. The swivel was very important to me as I have multiple bookshelves I need to get under and it’s difficult and I thought this mop would solve those difficulties. As it is, I have to squat and use a broom to clean under them.It is still useful, and I did wash the mop part and it worked out just fine. I washed it using the gentle cycle. But I wouldn’t buy it again over the lack of swivel.I enjoy writing product reviews since I base so many of my purchases off of the reviews of other shoppers and hope my review was helpful to you in your purchase decision.

I ordered this to help clean my new hardwood floors. It is easy to dry mop the floors with this, the head is large and can get a wide path. It also goes under the furniture with ease. Had one for a day that was from a famous cleaning company, but the head was not well made. There was metal that attached the head to the handle and that scraped on my floors, not good. Glad I found this Genuine Joe Dust mop.

I have over 1700-ft^2 of wood flooring, live way out in the boonies, and LOVE fresh air... so my windows and doors are open all the time, weather permitting. Not only that, but I live in an extremely windy region of the country. All of these factors result in a /horrendous/ amount of dust accumulating in my home, most noticeably on the light colored bamboo floor.My folks have >2000-ft^2 of oak flooring in their home (in the same area) and many years ago my mom procured a "janitor's dust mop" from a wholesale supplier. I've wanted / needed one for years, but finally had enough and searched online for *months* before I finally found this one, and could not possibly be more happy.At first I was a little skeptical about the spring-action removable head, but I have come to appreciate that feature as it allows for easier, tidy storage. I also like that the cloth dust mop itself is removable for easy washing. As I believe it is 100% cotton, I have washed it only in cold water and hung it on the line to dry instead of putting it in the dryer just in case it might shrink and not fit back onto the head following a trip through the dryer.Excellent, high quality product for a very reasonable price. And, it delivered a couple days early!
