Part is pretty fragile; it actually showed up already cracked. I used some aluminum tape to make repairs and reinforce some areas that looked likely to break easily, too, before I installed it. But it will surely do the job of heat shielding the fuel rail.

Was a good replacement but came broken on one side. Did a little MC Guyver and called it good.

Fit perfectly for my 2000 Jeep TJ! Item arrived well packaged and intact. I’ve never had any heat related issues although when I went to change the valve cover gasket the OEM insulation fell apart.

I read all the reviews about broken and returned items but despite that i ordered it anyway. Glad i did. it arrived quick and in one piece. It took just a couple of minutes to install on my 2001 TJ 4.0L and it fit perfect.

Perfect fit and quality seems good for the price.

Along with the “Mopar SHIELD-IGNITION CABLE“, this helped to clear up my 2004 Jeep TJ’s “heat soak” issue that causes a cylinder 3 misfire. When we pulled the old one out, it was an absolute mess. It wasn’t even really a shield anymore. It was more like a bunch of globs of wet, rotted insulation. Jeep runs great again now. No misses, no codes!

I did not want to remove a bunch of items to get this installed. So, I cut it right down the middle width wise, leaving me with 2 half pieces.I was then able to guide them in place using as little effort as possible, as not to damage them. Worked out very well, installing the first half closest to the back first, then the one closest to the front. I only moved/removed items that would impede my installation method.
