They used the widest elastic available and it made the waist super stiff. I really wanted to make them work so I took out the elastic and added back in a thinner band but they were still odd. Would pass on these. So cute though.

When I first received these shorts I thought no way are these going to fit. They looked so small. I was thinking I would have to pass them off to my much younger thinner niece but they surprised me. They are my normal size and look and fit great. I like the faded look of the shorts.

Love these jorts! They're a soft stretchy denim, very comfortable and breathable. The thigh area is loose fit and comes down to a perfect mid-thigh length.

These jean shorts are all they promised to be: lightweight, high waisted and stretchy. I ordered XL, the size recommended for size 14 and they fit well. They are not quite as loose as they appear to be on the model, but they are not tight either. I think the back pockets are slightly unflattering, but my husband thinks the shorts are cute on me. I like that they are stitched at the cut off point so that they don't fray any further, unlike true cutoff jeans, which tend to have really long sloppy threads hanging down after a few washes. Overall they are soft and look like lightweight denim, almost a chambray on the light colored version.I like them and expect I'll wear them year round here in Arizona.

These Genleck Denim Shorts are very comfortable. They have the elastic waist band, no button or zipper. Elastic is giving yet firm. These Shorts have pockets on front and back, that are good size. Has a drawstring on the front waist, but no belt loops. The bottom legs are frayed, giving it a stylish look.These Shorts are so very comfortable. Not tight or constricting. Look great with tank top or t-shirt. Can be worn as casual or semi-dress. Easy to wash and dry. Fit great, sizes are correct.I was a little surprised at the price, but these are nice durable shorts. I do recommend them. Would even make a nice gift.PLEASE REMEMBER THIS IS ONLY MY OPINION.

Summer has come and gone but the warm weather is definitely still here in CA! So I’m finding myself still in these shorts a lot more often than I thought. Not only because of the warm weather, but because I love these shorts! They are a stretchy denim material with a drawstring waistband. They aren’t too tight on the thighs and are the perfect length. I ordered them in the light blue and they go with just about any of my tops. I have a trip out to Hawaii and Florida coming up and these shorts are absolutely coming with me.

Really love that these have the feel of comfy shorts rather than jean material.Pretty true to size and I wasn’t constantly pulling them down .They are a beautiful color and easy to style. They just aren’t as high waisted as one would hope so give more of a boxy shape to you .
