Nice case for the price, probably best in this price range. But you get what you pay for, the material frays if you tilt them too much when rolling them, and the zippers tend to become unsewn.

VALUE FOR THE MONEY? Well, I think all these bags cost too much but... I'm CHEAP, I guess.STURDINESS? I wouldn't call it STURDY. If you want STURDY, buy a flight-case and PAY A LOT for it. I would say it's moderate protection for your property as long as you treat it with care. DON'T let your bandmates handle it because they won't respect it like they should; Roadies, either. THEY didn't pay for it, so typically, they don't care about it. Ask me why I feel that way! Seriously, I like my stuff, so as long as I am the one handling my own gear, it's all fine. I own many GATOR cases (not just these two) and there's a reason for that. Best wishes! Rock on!

Sturdy and well made drum accessories bag. Zippers and pulls well made. Soft, cushiony inside to keep items from getting scratched.Roomy inside with nice, long, adjustable shoulder strap w/cushion. Highly recommended!

I recently found a set of LP bongos in a pawn shop and wanted to get a case for them. Instead of buying a stock made bongo bag I decided to shop around an find something a little out of the ordinary. Enter the Gator GPa66 Bag. It's perfect! I love the way the carrying handles come from either side and across the top of the bag. This is so different from the traditional bongo bag that has a hinged top with two zippers that secure the top and a handle on the side.The price is very reasonable and the item was received in great shape ane really FAST! (Thanks, Amazson!)I'll buy another one when and if this one is no longer serviceable. And that's going to be awhile.

Extremely well made bag. I can see why all my guitar playing friends love Gator cases. I use my case for a set of wooden LP bongos and couldn't be happier with my case. I had looked around and found that the Gator case is better than even some of the bongo cases put out by mostly percussion companies. There's also an extra outside pocket that can fit your bongo bell, etc.One thing to note: The Gator website has this GP-66 model cross-listed listed as a case for lighting gear or double-bass pedals, but if you look more closely you'll also find that the case is appropriate for bongos.

J'ai acheté cette housse pour transporter ma double pédale de grosse caisse (contrairement au titre de l'article ce n'est pas sa fonction principale).Elle remplie parfaitement son rôle, cependant il y a quelques inconvénients : - pas de séparateur au milieu, du coup les pédales se cognent - pas de fond solide, donc si la pédale reste dans la housse longtemps, la mousse marqueLa poche extérieur est très pratique, et la mousse de rembourrage est très épaisse, la pédale ne risque rien.Je recommande.

Purchased this Gator bag (GP-66) for a set of LP Aspire Bongos. The bongos fit in the bag as if it was made for them! The quality of the bag is excellent. It is made of a good quality material with good padding & beautiful lining & the zippers are substantial to perform very good. This bag is far superior to the LPA291 bag made for these bongos(light weight nylon with minimal padding & small delicate zippers that jump the track easily!) The pocket on the top is handy for the wrench & small accesories.
