This is a great option for a garbage disposal if you don't want to drill your counter top or if your under sink outlet isn't switched. Installation is as simple as plugging in the device and plugging your disposal into it. The remote is wireless and get this....never needs a battery! It's small and unobtrusive and mounts with double stick tape. I put mine on the tile back splash and it has worked perfectly. Highly recommend for do it yourself installations!

Easy to use, but the physical socket is a bit bulky and can block some other plugs from being seated in the socket. No issues aside from that so far.

Going strong for 5 years, and never had any issues. Saved us a lot of electrician expenses with wiring and and cutting out parts of the wall. We are ordering another one for our new house.

I was skeptical about this gadget, but I have it paired with a .75 horsepower Insinkerator and it works great! We have opted to keep the battery-less switch unit free floating in the kitchen rather than trying to stick it to a surface.

I needed this for a newly installed garbage disposal that did not have a switched outlet under the sink, nor a soap dispenser hole in the granite countertop to run a corded button. This solved my problem to a "T". Mounted it to the sink cabinet door.

This is exactly what I was looking for so I didn't have to wire in a switch under the sink cabinet since there was no way to install a switch above the sink. I really appreciated the switch not ever needing any batteries. I mounted the switch under the bottom of a nearby cabinet with Velco adhesive tape so it could be easily moved if ever needed. Works perfectly and easy to push the button on the switch while standing at the sink & disposal.

Il est à l'abri des interférences du broyeur, contrairement à l'autre modèle qui fonctionnait 1 fois sur 4. Il permet l'installation si la prise à commander est proche du broyeur.Simple à utiliser, permet d'éviter de trouer le marbre et la céramique.

The concept is great, very easy to use, even easier to install. Two complaints, the wireless switch no longer works after 7 months - e.g. the primary power block works manually, but it no longer communicates via the included wireless switch. The other minor issue is that the adhesive backing on the switch doesn't holds up well - easily fixed with Velcro.I expected this solution to last much longer than it did, but have not contacted the manufacturer yet to discuss a replacement - I don't even know if it is under warranty.UPDATE: Manufacturer provided a quick reply after I contacted them, and some steps to reset the switch. If that works I will update my review and change the rating.UPDATE: It worked!

Does exactly what is says. Made installing my garburator so simple without the need to try to drill through the countertop. Just installed an electrical outlet under the sink and that’s it! Thank you!

Works very well, easy to use and install. My only issue is that the button is large and cheap feeling and looking.My disposal was the kind that works with a magnetic collar under the sink and a magnetic stopper goes in to trigger it. This stopped working. I taped the magnets to the collar under the sink and installed this and it works greatI think it does not need batteries because it clicks as you press it down and it must generate a small electrical charge.Overall a really good product.Update:This item failed in about a month. I opened it up and it was corroded from the moisture of pressing with wet hands I assume. They sent me a newer model (the one being sold now). That one died in 2 weeks. Not worth buying. Although the company wasn't bad to deal with.
