I have two this is the smaller of the two I have for my duck feed. Keeps the feed dry. These containers are so sturdy, look nice, easy to use twist off lid. Fits the storage needs I have. There are multiple sizes and again I have a couple of these for animal food. The largest one I have fits 50lb bag of dog feed.

Before I bought the Gamma2 Vittles Vault Dog Food Storage Container I kept my dog's food in a plastic storage container. Which was was kept in the garage. I had never had any problems with bugs getting in it until this summer. I went to feed my dog one morning and lo and behold I had ants in the container! Ugh!! So I came to Amazon to see what I can find to fix this situation. I compared several dog food storage containers. I ultimately pick the Gamma2 Vittles Vault Dog Food Storage Container. It came in pretty quick. I was surprised how small it was considering it said it would hold up to 30 pounds of dog food. To start I only put a 16 pound bag of dog food. That filled up the container about 1/2 way. I am doubtful it would hold exactly 30 pounds. Other pros for this item is since this is smaller than my original storage container it's taking up less room in my garage. The lid has been easy for me to open and close. And I don't always have a lot of strength in my hands. So that's a big plus for me. My cons for this product is that I wish it came with a scoop small enough to take the dog food out when needed. I'm using a scoop that I had before and it is hard to get dog food out without spilling. Or make the opening a little bigger. But I didn't take any stars aways for that because I love this product!!

We've been using this container for over 6 months. We fit our 30lb bag of food in the container perfectly. I never tested the container's seal, but it seems to keep the food fresh for the 4-5 weeks until our container becomes empty. The quality of the container is great, and I definitely don't see myself needing to buy another one for a long period of time. Clean style of container, and I love that the height and width makes it easy to store. Overall, I am very pleased with the container and would recommend it! I would also buy it again if I ever needed a different size.

本体はとても軽く扱いやすいです。うちは18キロのフードを買うのですが、18キロ用だと置くスペースがないので、これに入り切らなかった分は小分けにしてファスナー付きの袋に入れました。食べたら減って行くのでこれでちょうどいいです。蓋も回して閉めるタイプなので衛生的だと思います。

I bought the 30-pound container six years ago for storing dog food. I wanted something food safe and air tight. I lived on a ranch at the time and not attracting critters was a primary goal. It has worked beautifully and nothing ever even tried to get into it. I was just washing it today and noticed that it looks brand new. I've been using it twice a day for six years and it looks and works like it did the day I first got it. The little scoop that came with it that I use twice a day looks brand new. It's gotten regular and not too gentle or careful use and pushing it back into its place with my foot. It's lightweight and super sturdy. The dog food I buy comes in a 23.2 pound bag and the container easily accommodates it with about four inches to spare. This container has made the whole dog food process so effortless and smooth. The size I have is a little bulky to try to wash in the kitchen sink (even though I still do) and it's molded so there are little nooks and crannies and water catches under the lip when you try to pour it out but it's well worth a little extra effort for how great it works and how clean it washes up. Cleaning it outside would probably be the easiest way to go. I washed it when I first got it before I filled it and I never noticed any smell and "food safe" was definitely a must for me. Well worth the price. I would totally buy this again but I probably won't ever have to!

I looked for weeks to find these, and could only find them on Amazon but I'm glad I was patient.I didn't like the idea of the taller containers for my cat and dog food as they seemed too fragile and would easily tip over when not entirely full. These containers solve that problem while adding a few other advantages that make them fantastic.This container size fits a 30lb bag of cat food with room to spare, and is a bit short/wide so I can use it as a base for stacking another (35lb version) on top of it without issues of tipping or falling over.They seal very well, which in my apartment is huge for keeping the odor down as well as keeping the food fresh. This container allows me to store the food near where I feed the animals without worry for a smell or mess to keep up with.The only con so far is that my wife thinks the lids can be difficult to get off if I tighten them down too much, so I've just learned to tighten them a bit less so that they are easier to get open.The one thing I would change is that I would make the handles on the sides a bit deeper. While they work great when the container is empty, they're just too shallow with 30 lbs of food in the container.All-in-all I would suggest these to anyone looking for a better solution for storing their pet food. It seems a bit pricey, but they will last for years and years so I consider it more of an investment.
