For light duty loads such as using the saw horse for painting doors or sawing plywood they work great. But I wouldn't place heavy objects on them.

Sturdy metal and fits 2x4 boards good. These brackets fit 2x4 good to put the sawhorses together. The hinges seem sturdy and the metal thick and good quality. Old style 2x4 wood that is a bit bigger than the current sold 2x4 wood may not work well for you. I have a couple and they dont fit in the brackets without bending the tabs a bit out so you can slide the wood in .

Its a little bit lighter duty than I expected and like others noted, they aren't black. They still work well enough though.

Used to make some stands for steel targets and worked just fine. Easy to install, and build quality seemed decent. Not bad for the price.

For brackets for a sawhorse..not very sturdy and do not fit 2 x 4, so I have to modify each one. I will not ever buy these again and do not recommend them.

Three stars on materials. During assembly, I happened to drop one of the sets of legs that are really been screwed into the bracket. When it hit the ground, it bent as pictured. If they beefed up the steel, just a little bit (Like a Simpson Strong Tie), I could easily get this product a five star review.Five stars on customizable. I am 6'3", and I made the legs of my saw horse 3 feet long, and I am loving it! I also extended the cross piece to be 40 inches, which helps stabilize a sheet of plywood on there that much better. Furthermore, rather than screwing the cross piece to the bracket with wood screws, I used one thumb screw so that the cross piece can be easily removed, the legs folded together, and the sawhorses stored in a much smaller space.

Thin and flimsy. Could have use a little thicker gauge metal then it would be great. I bought it to put a 80 lb steel door on it for painting but don’t want to take a chance of it collapsing on me.Will return.
