The blocks are dimensionally accurate, and the fasteners are high-grade. I did have to drill out the two front seat bracket holes (with a 3/8" drill bit) because the factory slots were too narrow for the bolts to clear. I also took the seat right out of the truck and sat it (back down on a tarp) on the driveway to work on it. The seat belt retains it, so you can only go so far, but it's the way to go if you want to see what you are doing. It's an easy job, but take your time and think it through. Take a few before photos. For example, take note of the driver seat potion sensor that senses where the seat is on the track. The resulting seating position is fantastic compared to the factory sitting on the floor position. You can always have a buddy machine off the blocks if you find it too high. At first, I thought it was, but I quickly got used to it, and it's like a new truck. Remember to properly torque all nuts and bolts to the best of your ability.

These work ONLY for manual sliding front seats.I contacted the seller and asked if they carried one for the passenger side. They said this item works for BOTH the Driver or Passenger side!So I bought one for each side as my wife is shorter than me 😅 Install was fairly easy, yes you will have to drill out the existing mounting holes on the seat as the hole is metric and the fasteners are standard 3/8 bolts so it needs just a little more to fit the fasteners. Using ratcheting wrenches helped a lot.

Perfect solution to my 2016 2500 HD's manual seat's lack of a height adjustment (work truck trim level). Installation was straightforward and directions were very clear, except they state that the install takes about 20 minutes. It was easy to do, but it took closer to an hour. I had to drill out the holes in the seat just a tiny bit more to pass the new bolts, which the instructions say might need to be done and as others have noted, the driver's side seat bolts are a tight squeeze and I had to use a wrench on that side instead of a socket. For me at 5'-8", it's the perfect amount of lift. It gets my line of sight over the tow mirrors, and overall just feels more comfortable. I no longer feel like a little kid at the grown-up table.

I have 2017 Silverado work truck version. The included instructions provided correct information and installation was as described. The door side factory bolts had to be removed with old school wrench due to tight space from manufacture design, Time consuming, but doable.I was pleased with the elevated seat position and the better views I now have.My only suggestion? Instead of the flat black paint job? They should opt for a paint design that resembles the yellow pages, because last time I needed a seat lift? I had a phone book!

This is a great product. It did exactly what it was supposed to do and only took about 30 minutes to install. Blocks seem to be made out of quality aluminum. I can't say enough good things about how easy it was to install and its just the right amount of lift. Thanks!

Installed on my sons 2014 Chevrolet 1500. The seats sits to low for my son. Added these and it worked out great, he sits high enough to see over the hood and comfortable. Install was a bit of challenge, but not bad if you have help.

Easy installation but had to drill out the risers to fit the factory bolts other than that the seats lined up with the threads with no prob. This was on my 2019 gmc sierra
