This product does exactly what it claims to. After running through a fog chiller it stays low and dissipates quickly so it won’t haze up indoor venues, perfect for a graveyard theatre scene in which I used it. I’ve seen several reviews saying that it doesn’t stay low to the ground as advertised. I think these reviewers forgot to read the product description on the bottle where it clearly says you have to run it through a fog chiller. There’s no possible formulation of fog juice that can hug the ground without running through a chiller, think back to your high school chemistry class. When something is hot, it rises. In order to make fog, you have to vaporize the solution, the fog machine nozzle is at four or 500°F typically. If you want the fog to stay low, you have to cool it back down, you can’t just magically make it defy the laws of physics. Would use this formula again.

Used outdoors for graveyard scene, and it is very thick, and will hang around for a while, even outside.

I recently used Froggy's Fog CryoFreeze Low Lying Fog Fluid for a Halloween party, and it worked brilliantly. The fog was dense and stayed close to the ground, creating an enchanting atmosphere that impressed my guests. To achieve the best results, I found that using ice or dry ice in conjunction with the fog machine is essential. The cooling effect keeps the fog low-lying for an extended period, enhancing the visual impact. The fluid is high-quality and didn't leave any residue or strange odors. If you're looking to create a dramatic low-lying fog effect for your event, I highly recommend this product!

Cryofreeze, for the most part, does exactly what it say's it'll do. Definitely stays low with a minimal amount of ice. I actually used dry ice. It is VERY fast dissipating! I used it in a 700W fog machine for Easter service. The plan was to start with a small amount "rolling" across the stage then gradually build in volume. The problem was that in small quantities, most of the "rolling blanket" dissipated long before it hit the front of the stage. With short, spaced out bursts from the fog machine everything would be gone in under 20 seconds and the fog was very thin. However, in longer bursts the rolling blanket was much better. The fog was much denser (NOT Bog Fog dense) and the "rolling blanket" would make it to the front of the stage. It would just start to roll off the front edge before dissipating (maybe 30 sec.) Even in longer/more frequent bursts, no fog ever made it into the audience and it never lifted. Just for reference, the front of the stage was approximately 10' - 12' from the fog machine and about another 5' to the audience.I would have liked for it to have a little more hang time and be slightly denser. But, it did what it is advertised to do. Based on the amount of fluid that I used for a very brief effect, I don't feel that Cryofreeze would be the BEST option for someone looking for multiple "continuous" (longer than a minute) low lying fog blanket effects. However if you're looking for a fast dissipating, shorter duration effect this is definitely the right stuff.DISCLAIMER: I have only used this product in a Chauvet 700W machine. I do not know how or if it would perform differently in a higher wattage machine.

This does lay lower than normal fog, but it dissipates very quickly. within 2 minutes it's almost completely gone. I also made my own "Chiller" out of an old wet-vac hose and a 5 gallon bucket filled with ice. I routed the fog out of my machine through the hose to cool the fog and make it lay lower than the surrounding air. The fog comes out cold, and helped a lot with keeping it low to the ground, but any type of breeze at all will dissipate the fog. I used this indoors, in my living room actually, and the fan from a playstation was enough to move the fog around...It was a pretty epic game of rockband with some laser lights and fog though.I'm using a very basic fog machine, but that should be irrelevant. A bigger fog machine will make more fog, but more fog will not necessarily last longer, it is just more fog to dissipate at the same rate.

Did not work well at all. Cheap flog juice with a chiller works MUCH better. Barely saw any fog at all. Disappointing, as I didn't "test" before my Halloween party. Ugh. Don't buy.
