Bought this for a special wedding. Put fluid in it and plugged it in. It won’t even heat up. Dead on arrival. This thing is junk to say the least.

This thing puts out a ton of smoke, but the instructions are not clear on the duty cycle of on and off. I was playing with it for a while using the remote control and it was pretty exciting smoke, but then when I decided I was done, the cord and the extension cord it was plugged into were both VERY HOT...and it turned the end of my clear extensions cord black. I loved the smoke and the lights, but am concerned about the cord getting as hot as it did. The unit itself also got very hot, but there is a warning on there that says it could get up to about 80 C, which is about 176 F. I hope the manufacturer will respond to the review and let me know what the duty cycle is to prevent overheating electrical cords. Great smoke and light show. One other item of note is that with the remote, the smoke and lights only work as long as you hold the button. There isn't a timer function that you can keep it on for so long and then it reheats.

We've had some of those cheapie novelty fog machines before and they've been fun. This takes things to the next level. The amount of smoke it puts out in a short period of time is great. It has a large reservoir. I used the extra heavy fog liquid and it was no joke. I just used the remote. I can't wait to incorporate DMX.

I finally got this 1500W fog machine to replace my smaller 500W units. It can be controlled by the included remote or most importantly by DMX which is how I plan to use it. You can put lights around a fog machine but having them built in not only gives you a better effect but it saves DMX channels by having it integrated and synchronized into one device. This puts out a ton of thick fog quickly and has a large juice tank to make sure it will last your entire show.
