No matter how my very diligent wife and science-guy-me tried, our washer gasket was a disgusting smelly mess after a few years of washing. NOTHIG helped. Not the strong chlorine gel we tried, drying it well every time, keeping the door open. This is a materials/design flaw. It will cost you well over $400 to get this replaced by a repair technician. It is NOT that hard to do! I did it myself. Admittedly I am a good mechanic (Product Designer in fact!) so YMMV, but really, its pretty easy! Being the first time it took me an hour. Next time half that. Re-mounting the face frame (with the door attached) to the front of the machine was the hardest part. Look on YouTube for videos, there are several good ones. One thing I did was to order a cheap-o tool to help extend the spring wire clamp that seals the gasket. That was very nicely helpful. Here is the searchable name of the ten-dollar investment in the future of our thousand-dollar machine:383EER4001A Washer Inner/Outer Tub Spring Expansion Removal Tool for L-G Samsung Washing Machine Washer Spring Remover & Installer Tool Worth it. Now the new gasket looks great, doesn’t smell, and should last a few years. Also the price of THHIS item was MUCH better than al the others! Dive in It feels great to DIY!

Fit back in place with little trouble, aside from the whole rigamarole of unstacking dryer and taking off top and front panels. Definitely helps to refit the interior retainer spring with an extra set of hands to hold the spring in place while stretching it back into the groove. I was kind enough to give the missus a pair of vinyl dip gloves. I had her hold at 10 and 2 oclock after I pre-stretched and seated the top, then progressing on each side to hold at 8 and 4, then set the bottom third.I also took the opportunity to swab out the recirculation line, as it was completely brown inside.Good part. Good luck.

Great deal, perfect fit, a bit tricky to install suggest ordering the pliers designed for this job and having a clamp handy to hold the spring retainer in place while installing the new door gasket.

Fit was perfect but takes a lot of work to get the inner lock spring back on. Need to take most of the front of the machine off to swap it out. Now my machine is looking new again. Good deal for the seal here. About 50 dollars off appliance website.

Did not fit EFLS627UI. The mold was just a little too tight and had a brake for the drum…the original did not have a brake. After installation, ran a test load and the drum rubbed a gash in the door boot and then popped off the spring and the boot became dislodged.

I have always been a “just throw it in the washer and see if it survives” kind of gal…turns out that is not a great idea. After many years of being lucky, my luck ran out and I opened my washer to find something I washed with a hook on it got catch in my door seal and tore a big hole in it. Thankfully I found this replacement on Amazon and I have a husband that can watch a YouTube video and fix anything that I have broken. lol I have done many, many loads of laundry since it’s been installed and have had zero problems, thank goodness!

I purchased one of the "Like New" ones at a nice discount. Apparently these Like New ones are previously purchased Amazon returns. Mine didnt have any sign of damage or being installed before and was a perfect fit in our Electolux. Old one was badly mildewed. I do highly recommend having two men to put the inner spring on. I tried to stretch it on myself but ended up needing a second pair of strong hands. It did leak a bit at first from the bottom of the door but stopped after it seated in soon after. Be aware you do need to take the top and front off and I also took off both upper and lower counterweights for more room to get the back spring on. If you are pretty handy you should be fine but it not I don't suggest trying this replacement job.

Great looking gasket, it was the wrong one for our machine (which was my fault as I ordered the wrong size) but the quality seemed very nice when I took it out of the box and felt more durable then the stock one I was replacing. The return process was very quick and very easy.

This is a genuine OEM part. The install took a bit of time and sweat but if you follow the Youtube video instructions that are available you will get through it.

Worked well with our Electrolux washer. Installation not to crazy but much more difficult than I expected. Alot of good videos on YouTube for installing. Might need a second set of hands to install the inside spring clamp.
