I bought this nailer because the flooring I am installing requires this gauge cleat, and it’s just not available in any stores. All in all, the nailer is fine. Until it’s not. The no mar feet cracked in our second room of flooring, causing the alignment to be skewed. The replacement parts aren’t available in any store, or even on the manufacturer’s website (despite the manual telling me to go to their website for replacement parts). I called the manufacturer, and while she was very nice, her only solution was “let me see if I have these parts in the warehouse, but if not I’ll send you a new nailer”. So while that might work for now, I have to 1. Wait for either option to happen and be mailed to me and 2. Hope that if they ship another nailer to me, the feet don’t crack on that one.If you are considering this nailer because your flooring requires this gauge, CHOOSE A DIFFERENT FLOORING. RUN NOW.Another con of this nailer: it doesn’t hold many cleats at once. I can only put one line of cleats in at a time. So you have to pay careful attention to when you’re about to run out.TLDR: overall it works, but because it’s an uncommon cleat gauge, I would definitely consider using a more common gauge nailer if at all possible.
