A while ago, I got a Schwinn Woodlands mountain bike that looked pretty good except for a broken and yellowed “Dork Disc”. I seriously wondered if I could fix that because I have never seen these parts available except as a factory part on a bicycle. Many places say that the part is worthless and rip them off the bike, but I prefer to keep mine stock - including with this part.It wasn’t the easiest part to install, mostly because I wasn’t using the correct tools for the job. Removing the cassette was kinda tricky, but I managed to do it without a cassette wrench and got the part swapped it. It fit exactly like the original yellowed one and looks a whole lot better.Overall, I think this part isn’t badly priced, but maybe a tad overpriced considering it’s just a plastic disc. But then again, where have you ever found this part otherwise? I know if I ever need another one, I can get this and install it to restore proper function and appearance. It looks and fits just like the original. Hopefully, this one doesn't yellow like the original did.
