This is a great comfortable boot, no break in period. The fit is perfect, I ordered my normal size 9 1/2 wide and it fits perfectly no matter what socks I wear. I didn't need to replace the shoe liner for a more comfortable one as I normally do with all of my other boots. My Merrell's were my favorite until I tried these. These are really cute on too! They look great with leggings or jeans. They seem really durable, arch support is perfect, grip is perfect. I haven't tried them in the rain yet, we haven't had any! I bought these for hiking but I love the comfort of these so much I've been wearing them as my everyday shoes! I will be buying another pair for hiking so I can keep these looking good for everyday use! I have tried every brand of boot out there and these are by far the best!

These boots 🥾 fit perfectly the first time I put them on. And are comfortable. They are also so cute! I would definitely buy from this company again! They even gave me an Extra pair and some hiking socks. Thank you to this small family run business!! Doing things the old fashioned way!! Customer care.

At first these fit extremely well. I was extremely worried about an upcoming hike so I decided to wear these 1 day to break them in sort of speak. They are light weight which I love, the colors are true and I love that they are feminine looking. The traction is honestly outstanding. I normally wear an 8 but decided to get an 8.5 so I could put some dr. School inserts for plantars. I thought the 1/2 larger would give the room and not feel so tight. They ended up at the end of my trail walk feeling extremely lose even when I tied them very tight. My foot kept slipping toward and my toes would run the tip of shoe which got very uncomfortable after awhile. If it wasn't for that I would have given 5 stars. I also noticed they are very breathable as well. Some areas I walk had patches of snow and a bit of water. Shoes stayed dry and at the end of the day my feet did not feel hot or sweaty. I don't know the return or exchange policy as I have not read it yet but I would recommend but advise on sizing correctly.

I wear orthotics and it is very hard for me to find a comfortable shoe that doesn't make my feet ache. I walk in the woods several times during the week. These are true to size, I got a 7W. The sole is sturdy, I like the way they hug my ankle. They are comfortable, waterproof. I may get a second pair if I have no issues after wearing a few months. Love the shoe laces, they are "wavy", for lack of a better word, and stay tied better than regular, and you get an extra pair.

Edit to Update:I bough these for a trip to Alaska for a 3 mile hike that I had signed up for. No blisters. No discomfort. They supported my feet amazingly well and were comfortable throughout the entire hike through the Alaskan rainforest. Ups, downs, rocks, mud, wood, roots you name it we walked over it. Fantastic boots hiking.It has been a LONG time since I have had a pair of hiking boots, but due to a trip I had to get something with ankle support.So I found these. I have had 4 foot surgeries - 3 joints in my ankles are fused and I have slight nerve damage and limited side to side motion (which can make shoes uncomfortable). Due to the surgeries my right foot is permanently a little swollen - so Wide width shoes are too big on one foot and regular width are too small on the right foot.1. These are super cute. Pink and grey are a fave combo and amazingly they don’t make my 10.5 size foot look huge.2. They have a bunch of support. They force my feet to sit flat and not on the outsides and my ankles are fully supported.3. They’re comfortable. They have extra room for thicker socks and they are the PERFECT width. Not too wide for my left foot and not too small for my right foot. Super comfortable and supportive.4. They supply you with an extra pair of laces. They also included a free gift of hiking socks with my order which I thought was awesome.All shoes have a little breaking in to do. I have walked around a bit in these and I can’t wait to walk some more and really get them broken in.If you’re looking for good quality hiking shoes, give these a chance. I doubt you’ll be disappointed.

I love these boots! I wanted a boot that offered wide sizing, was waterproof without turning my feet into a sauna, and were stylish enough to wear when not in the wilderness. These boots delivered on all fronts. My roommates all commented on how cute they were when I first got them. I really like the teal/ white/ black/ beige colorway on the teal pair. I live in the Pacific Northwest, and we're having a particularly rainy June this year. On a recent camping trip, I hiked in the rain and waded through puddles and flowing streams and my feet stayed completely dry. I'm into rockhounding, so I also also scrambled over a bunch of wet rocks in the pouring rain. My feet stayed dry and the sole was *extremely* grippy - no slipping!I don't always bother to post reviews, but other people's reviews are what made me take a chance on this brand, and I'm very glad I did! As others have noted, the boots also come with extra shoelaces and a nice pair of free hiking socks. I saw that some people had some issues with inconsistent sizing in the past, but I think Foxelli has resolved the issues. I ordered my usual size, 8.5 wide, and found them to be true to size, with a generous toe box and no rubbing - even when my feet swelled while hiking. I highly recommend these boots! I'll come back and edit this review if I have any issues with durability over time, but even after getting very wet and muddy for days on my trip, these boots look good as new.
